Law enforcement officers are gearing up for a new operation to sweep the streets of El Paso, Texas, removing thousands of illegal migrants who have turned the city into a huge refugee camp. This, of course, wouldn’t even be necessary had President Joe Biden actually discharged the duties of his office and tackled the border crisis by sealing it off with a wall and enforcing the laws we have on the books. But alas, such action would have interrupted the left’s plan to bloat voter rolls with non-citizens who will aid them in winning elections.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a press release on Monday evening announcing a “targeted enforcement operation” taking place in El Paso ahead of the repeal of Title 42, a Trump-era health order that has allowed border agents to immediately expel illegal aliens from the country,” the Daily Wire reported.
“Immigration enforcement agents will process individuals for vetting and placement into Title 42 expulsion or Title 8 removal proceedings, as applicable,” CBP went on to say, according to a report published by The Washington Examiner. “Noncitizens who pose a threat to national security or public safety will be transferred to ICE for detention.”
The operation hits as the end of Title 42 draws closer to an end, which will open the door for thousands of migrants to cross over into the United States, adding to the insanely high number of said individuals that have already entered the nation over the course of the last two years. The Mayor of El Paso, Oscar Leeser, estimated that there could be up to 15,000 migrants in Ciudad Juarez looking to cross the border into his city when the Trump era measure expires on Thursday.
The Washington Examiner revealed there are roughly 2,500 illegal immigrants in the city of El Paso, living on the streets, as we speak. Now think about the burden this has placed on the resources of El Paso. Not only welfare programs and assistance for medical care, but police presence as well. No doubt these camps are experiencing crime and other issues that require law enforcement to intervene. Imagine how stretched to the limits everyone is because of this mess.
“Some Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were reportedly frustrated with how the El Paso operation is being handled,” the Daily Wire continued.
“I continue to hear from frustrated Border Patrol & ICE contacts who are in disbelief that DHS/CBP announced in a press release last night that they were going to run an enforcement operation in El Paso today targeting gotaways/evaders camping on streets,” Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reported. “Lost element of surprise.”

The report then revealed that many of the federal immigrant holding facilities, along with NGO centers are now at their maximum capacity and experiencing overcrowding. Eight out of nine sectors located along the U.S. southern border are now completely overwhelmed, just days before the final barrier standing in the way of thousands upon thousands more immigrants goes bye-bye. Scary times.
