Miami Mayor and current Republican presidential candidate, Francis Suarez, took an opportunity during an appearance on “The View” to strike back at a furious and fuming Sunny Hostin as her temper flared after learning he might possibly vote for former President Donald Trump. Want to see a liberal head explode? Just tell them you’re MAGA to the core and watch the fireworks ensue. Incredible how hateful these people are.
“Suarez announced his 2024 presidential candidacy in a June 15 campaign video, making him the third contender from Florida in the race. He said he did not vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020. His appearance on ‘The View’ grew tense as Hostin and other co-hosts pressed him on voting for Trump,” the Daily Caller reported.
“You would vote for a man who has been impeached twice, you would vote for a man who has two pending indictments, criminal indictments. You would vote for a man who Bill Barr said that the federal indictment against the former president is very damning. Do you think those charges of national security are damning?” Hostin asked during the segment.
It amazes me how much people like Hostin focus on the alleged “crimes” or ill behavior of Donald Trump while not batting an eyelash at the current investigations and allegations of corruption that President Joe Biden is facing. Hostin is no doubt pulling the lever for Biden in 2024 and isn’t worried a bit about his impropriety. That’s called a double standard.
“I think they’re serious, and I’ll tell you this, Sunny —” he commented.
“Then why would you vote for him?” Hostin interjected. Again, why is she voting for Biden, despite knowing a mountain of evidence exists that points to him taking a bribe from a foreign national in exchange for policy influence?
“I’m running for president, I want people to vote for me,” Suarez responded to Hostin.
“But if you don’t get the nomination, you would vote for him,” “The View” co-host continued.
The mayor of Miami then stated that he wants folks to give him a chance to “serve them humbly and make their lives better.” Which is something that liberals like Hostin do not think is possible for someone who is Republican, despite the fact they benefited tremendously from Trump’s first round in the Oval Office.
Around this time in the interview is when co-host Joy Behar, perhaps the most disgusting progressive of the bunch, jumped into the fracas asking him if he would vote for Trump due to the fact he likely needs his base of supporters in order to win the primary.
“Are you saying you would vote for him because you know you need his base to vote for you or because you’d think he’d actually be a good president?” Behar asked Suarez.
“From prison,” Hostin said in an attempt to make a zinger.
“Joy, what I’m saying is I’d vote for myself,” he explained. “I’m running for president of the United States and I understand that the conversation always gravitates towards the former president. I don’t think that’s good for our country. I think that’s toxic. I think it promotes division.”
“Then why did you say ‘I’d vote for him?’” Hostin once again interjected.
“Because people are asking me a question about whether I’d vote for one person or the other, and I want to be honest about my answer,” he responded.
Why does anyone watch this show? These people are insufferable.
