There’s no doubt about it, folks.
Former President Donald Trump has to be the most attacked Republican not only in our day and age, but pretty much ever. Have you ever seen Democrats hate someone so passionately that they would go after them nonstop, even after they were voted out of office during an election? It’s insane and completely unprecedented. It also reveals what the liberals fear most: a second administration for Trump in 2024. Well, if they keep orchestrating legal assaults on Trump, that’s likely what they are going to get.
Take, for example, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is part of the fourth indictment brought against Trump, this dime for allegedly trying to interfere with the results of the 2020 presidential election. Willis wants Trump’s trial to start on March 4, 2024. This date also includes the alleged co-conspirators who have been named in the indictment.
“Willis indicted Trump, along with a litany of his political allies, over his efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results in the Peach State. Trump has contended the case is part of a broader political witch hunt designed to derail his 2024 presidential campaign,” Just the News reported. “In addition to the March 4, 2024, start date, Willis has proposed arraignments for the week of Sept. 5 of this year, The Hill reported.”
“In light of Defendant Donald John Trump’s other criminal and civil matters pending in the courts of our sister sovereigns, the State of Georgia proposes certain deadlines that do not conflict with these other courts’ already-scheduled hearings and trial dates,” she went on to say in a legal filing. She is hoping to try the whole 19 at one time.
Not long after the indictment, Trump revealed that he will be publishing a report concerning election fraud in the state of Georgia that he believes will give him “complete exoneration.” He said he would release the report next Monday.
“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” he published on Truth Social. “Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION! They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!”
Whether or not this report will have any sort of impact at all on the charges against him is up in the air. I don’t think, given the ferocity of the assault against him, that the charges will be dropped. The left is desperate to prevent him from having a rematch against Joe Biden in next year’s election. Leftists fear him. He’s a man who does what he says, something almost unheard of in the realm of politics.
That, coupled with the political influence he still has over great numbers of Americans, leaves the progressive party terrified. It could send their Marxist plans for the future of the United States crashing to the ground.
