Well, it really doesn’t look like companies have been paying attention to what happened to Bud Light in the wake of the whole Dylan Mulvaney incident. If they had, they would know that people now understand the true power of a major boycott and would not go the wrote of wokeness or censorship. Surprisingly, NASCAR is who might be next to join the class and get a lesson on the true dangers of both.
“After driver Noah Gragson was suspended indefinitely for liking a meme mocking George Floyd, and then eventually let go by Legacy Motor Club, fans are now calling for a Bud Light-style boycott of NASCAR. Originally, Legacy Motor Club announced that Gragson would be suspended for two races — Indianapolis and Watkins Glen — with Mike Rockenfeller taking his place in the No. 42 car. Legacy Motor Club stated that Gragson’s social media action did not ‘represent the values of our team,'” the Daily Caller said.
After the initial suspension from the Legacy Motor Club, NASCAR also moved to slap Gragson with an indefinite ban, stating that he violated their code of conduct. And, to be fair, a private company does indeed have the right to create such a code of conduct in order to protect their brand from being damaged by things their drivers say and do. Not long after this, Gragson was released by the Legacy Motor Club.
Fans of NASCAR now claim the league has gone full woke. Which, honestly, it kind of has.
How much more woke BS can come from @NASCAR before their fans bankrupt them with the Bud Light treatment?
They damn sure deserve it.

Being born and raised in the South, I can tell you @Nascar has forgotten their fan base.
Go woke, go broke.
Bud Light the hell out of them.

NASCAR has turned so WOKE that it’s not even worth watching anymore! I’m ranking it right up there with Target and Bud Light! They’ve turned the biggest spectator sport in America into a bunch of empty seats in a short period of time! https://t.co/yCRJAfxrwQ

Suspended for liking a post?? So unless he glorifies and praises a known criminal, he's suspended by NASCAR?
Hey @NASCAR Look at Bud Light to see your future. https://t.co/WOZHlFBNyA

According to Newsweek:
One X user defended the suspension of Gragson and slammed the calls for the sport to be cancelled: “People saying ‘boycott NASCAR’ as if they watched to begin with. We’re doing just fine without you, go cry in a corner while you’re at it.”
While another wrote that it would need more than the current furore to dampen their enthusiasm for it: “Nobody or nothing could get me to stop watching NASCAR”
A third commented that they would not abandon NASCAR: “I mean I’m a big Noah fan but I’m not gonna just stop watching lmao.”
Fox News shared a statement they received from NASCAR concerning the situation, which said, “NASCAR fully supports Legacy Motor Club’s decision to suspend Noah Gragson. Following his actions on social media, NASCAR has determined that Gragson has violated the Member Conduct section of the 2023 NASCAR Rule Book and has placed him under indefinite suspension.”
This was Gragson’s first full season with NASCAR. He was 33 in the standings at the time of his suspension. However, he has not had any top 10 finishes thus far this season.
Companies had better open their eyes. Americans have made it clear under no uncertain terms, they are sick and tired of censorship and having the woke agenda pushed down their throats. The left has simply taken things too far. We’re sick of it and we’ll let the whole world know it by how we spend our dollars.
And that’s exactly the right way to do it. Things are changing, folks. Just have patience.
