Dr. Deborah Birx, who once served as part of former President Donald Trump’s responses to the COVID pandemic, has come out and stated, much to the chagrin of liberals everywhere, that mask mandates are currently not necessary as new coronavirus variants are causing an uptick in cases across the country. Notice that she said they aren’t needed right now. Clearly, Birx is not opposed to using mandates to force folks to partake int he face diaper brigade sometime in the near future.
“We don’t need to mandate,” Birx stated during an interview with Newsmax on Saturday.
“Birx was responding to an increasing number of hospitals and businesses requiring masks amid an increase in COVID-19 hospital admissions across the U.S.,” Just the News reported.
“We need to actually empower people with the information that they need for themselves and their families because every family is different,” Birx also remarked. “And by the way, outside is safe, and playgrounds are safe.”
Hospitals located in upstate New York revealed last month that masks will once again be mandatory for their staff members, patients, and visitors. Because this all worked so well to stop the spread last time, right? Guys, this is political, not medical. That should be obvious by now. How many more studies need to be done proving masks do little to nothing to stop the spread of the coronavirus?
“Among them are United Health Services, in Binghamton; Auburn Community Hospital, in Auburn; University Hospital, in Syracuse; and Samaritan Health facilities, in Watertown, according to the Epoch Times. In addition, mask requirements were recently implemented at Hollywood studio Lionsgate in Santa Monica, California,” Just the News continued.
One of the tactics radical progressives use in order to push through bits and pieces of their agenda is that of emergency powers. After some sort of emergency is declared, medical or natural, they can create bills that are stuffed with all kinds of things that aren’t really related to the situation at hand, under the guise of helping the American people through difficulty.
For example, they might enforce a strict lockdown where people are not allowed to go to work. In order to ensure people can pay their bills, they create monetary relief packages, which are passed in Congress. Those packages have all kinds of little things added in that help them instill infrastructure for the transformation of our country’s system of government into something closer to socialism.
They can also use an emergency declaration to strip power away from average Americans, which we saw clearly during the first pandemic, particularly with how Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer handled things in her state, going so far as to prevent residents from buying seeds from the store to plant and grow their own food.
Let’s hope the vast majority of America has learned its lesson the first time around and refuses to play the game this time. Especially seeing as next year is election time, and I have no doubt the left would really love to have another lockdown during the vote.
