A brand new piece of legislation passed in the state of California is forcing public schools to have a gender-neutral bathroom. The bill was signed into law over the weekend by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom. Look out, ladies and gentlemen, this sort of thinking is headed your direction, no matter what state you call home. Which is why it is so critical to ensure that if you have children in a public school, you become well acquainted with what’s going on in your district. You can no longer afford to be passive about your kid’s education.
“Under the new bathroom law, public schools teaching first through 12th grade must have at least one gender-neutral bathroom available for students by 2026. California already requires K-12 public schools to allow students to use the bathroom of the opposite sex if it matches their gender identity, due to a 2013 law. However, the new law expands the bathroom requirements to explicitly require another gender-neutral restroom,” the Daily Wire reported. “Several other bills Newsom signed on Saturday geared toward LGBT youth as well.”
Because, as you all well know, the LGBTQ+ community has become a protected class that is worthy of receiving more rights than the average American. Why? Well, it’s all political. This enables the Democrats to achieve two important steps in moving toward the ultimate goal of recreating America in the image of Marx. First, it destroys the traditional family unit which is the backbone of any healthy society as it serves as a barrier to keep government from being absolute. Second, it creates more and more division, and as many great warriors and generals of the past that an enemy army that’s divided, is much easier to conquer. I’m sure you understand what I’m saying.
One of the additional pieces of legislation signed into law by Newsom on Saturday concerns “LGBTQ cultural competency training” for teachers and staff. The other involves foster families, requiring them to “demonstrate an ability and willingness to meet the needs of a child, regardless of the child’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.”
“California is proud to have some of the most robust laws in the nation when it comes to protecting and supporting our LGBTQ+ community, and we’re committed to the ongoing work to create safer, more inclusive spaces for all Californians,” Newsom remarked in a statement as he signed the law.
The Associated Press also released a report on the law, revealing it was inspired by a school district located in Los Angeles that has recently implemented a policy concerning the gender transitions of students.
“The Chino Valley Unified School District approved a new policy in July requiring schools to inform parents if their child begins identifying as a new gender that does not match the one on their birth certificate. This includes if a student asks to use the bathroom or play on the sports teams of the opposite sex,” the Daily Wire added.
This, as you can imagine, stirred up a whole lot of controversy, leading to California’s superintendent of public instruction Tony Thurmond being escorted out of a school board meeting in Chino Valley after he showed up to protest against the policy.
