If President Joe Biden heard what Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said in a recent interview about him facing the full power of the House of Representatives, it’d probably need a fresh change of pants. I know I would. Green, speaking with Newsmax’s Eric Bolling on his program,, “The Balance,” said that she isn’t interested in going only after Biden, but wants to see all of his potential co-conspirators put under the microscope as well.
The comments were made just hours after the announcement on Tuesday from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a California member of the GOP, stated that the House would be launching an impeachment inquiry into the president. Greene said the current inquiry will bring a lot of the evidence against Biden and his family out in public, noting that’s just the beginning.
Greene also said there’s “a lot more than Joe Biden we need to investigate; we need to investigate and uncover every single unelected bureaucrat that receives a taxpayer-funded paycheck that has covered up Joe Biden’s crimes.”
“I want a list of those names, Eric, because when we get President [Donald] Trump back in the White House, I want to make sure that we gut these agencies of these traitors within our federal government. And when we control the Department of Justice, I want to see them prosecuted if it’s necessary,” she continued.
During a recent interview with Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer of Kentucky was asked how much it cost to buy off a president. He answered by saying, “I would say at this point, probably $20 million.”
Here’s more from Newsmax:
The number stands in sharp contrast to the over $100 billion Ukraine has received since Russia invaded in February of 2022. Nonetheless, the exact figure of the aid is unknown because the State Department, which had for 50 years published its World Military Expenditures and Arms Transfers reportannually, announced in late 2022 that it would cease doing so.
Last month, Comer released two memos (1,2) linking payments to the Biden family stemming from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
What we all want to see, at this point, is actual, legitimate, honest-to-goodness accountability for those who are in positions of power within our government. Elected leaders are not above the law. At least they shouldn’t be. However, it’s become clear we have a two-tiered system of justice in this country. If you have a family member in a position of influence, you can take advantage of that connection for your own benefit.
Like calling your father when he’s the president and have him help you get big business deals so long as you give him a decent kickback. This should not be happening. We all know that. And right now, it seems Republicans are serious about looking into the president and the alleged influence peddling scheme he’s potentially involved with, but when it comes time to put the rubber to the road, will they continue to push for accountability or will it all fizzle out?
