So the folks over at NBC News were really, really desperate to downplay the death of a Jewish man that took place during a pro-Palestine rally, stealth-editing its headline in order to not make those who support Hamas and the Palestinian people — the majority of whom voted Hamas into power — look like the unhinged left-wing radicals they are. But they were discovered, so their little switcheroo has been revealed to the masses and the blow back is coming down like an iron hammer.
According to the Daily Caller’s Nicole Silverio, 69-year-old Paul Kessler, died as the result of “injuries sustained during an altercation at a Pro-Israeli/Pro-Palestinian event” that took place in the city of Thousand Oaks, California on Monday afternoon, according to information released by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office declared Kessler’s cause of death was homicide.
Who would have ever guessed that individuals who are supportive of radical Islamic terrorist groups have a propensity to commit acts of violence? Total mind-blower. *Insert eye roll*
Here’s more from the DC report:
NBC News initially headlined its report on Kessler’s death as “Man dies after hitting head during Israel and Palestinian rallies in California, officials say,” according to an archived version of the report. It later changed the headline to read, “Jewish man killed in altercation at dueling pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian rallies in California.”
CNN also framed it around the man hitting his head @DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/xRFQ1aKwG6

Local police said Kessler died from a head injury after falling backward during an altercation with a counter-protester, according to the sheriff’s office. Medical personnel then transported him to the hospital to provide him with “advanced medical treatment.” Authorities have not yet ruled out whether Kessler’s death was the result of a hate crime.
“An autopsy was performed on November 6th and the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be blunt force head injury and the manner of death homicide,” the sheriff’s office stated.
NBC News was not the only mainstream media outlet that was scrambling to word a headline that would not make supporters of Palestine look bad in the wake of the Jewish man’s death. CNN also tried to build their headline concerning the event around the head injury Kessler suffered rather than focusing on the medical examiner’s determination that the Jewish man was murdered. So what kind of creative line of BS did they come up with at CNN?
Try, “Jewish man dies after suffering head injury at pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian demonstrations in California.”
Unbelievable, isn’t it?
We’re witnessing a fresh wave of anti-Semitism wash over the globe in the wake of the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas. It’s a reminder that while we have made many great strides in equality and ending racism, there are still old remnants of hatred that have yet to die. Anti-Jewish sentiment has never, ever gone away, and unlike other forms of this kind of ethnic hate, it has not seemingly waned any over the years. Why are people so hostile toward Israel and Jewish people in general? It’s sort of mind-blowing.
