Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio got into a confrontation with a wackadoo liberal activist that was recorded and posted on social media Wednesday where he made it clear that we need to ignore all these stupid calls for a ceasefire between Israel and radical Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. And he could not be more right on the money. What people are really saying, between the lines, is that they want Israel to basically accept the murder of innocent citizens by terrorists and kiss the backsides of the very people who did it. That is insane.
According to the Daily Wire, the video shows Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin stopping the Florida senator in the hall and asking him if he would make a call for a ceasefire between the two parties involved in the conflict.
“No, I will not,” Rubio responded. “Are you guys filming this? I want you guys to get this. I want Israel to destroy every element of Hamas they can get their hands on. These people are vicious animals who did horrifying crimes, and I hope you guys post that.”
Benjamin then tried to push the issue by asking Rubio, “What about the civilians being killed every day?”
“I blame Hamas. Hamas should stop hiding behind civilians,” the Florida senator remarked. “Hamas knew that this was going to lead to this, so Hamas has to stop building their military installations underneath the hospital.”
Of course, this answer was not at all satisfactory for Benjamin, so she kept right on pressing the matter and in general acting like a nuisance.
“So you don’t care that 15,000 have died, you don’t care about the babies that are getting killed every day?” she asked. Keep in mind, this particular figure is in great dispute as the terrorists within Hamas have been known to lie about the number of deaths occurring in Gaza. It’s part of the strategy the Quran teaches about the use of deception in warfare against the enemies of Islam. This isn’t just a war on the battlefield, it’s also a war of information. Radical Islamists want to create a narrative where they are the victims, the heroes, and Israel are the villains. And lefties, who seem to naturally be anti-Semitic, just eat this crap up.
“I think it’s terrible, and I think Hamas is 100% to blame … make sure you post that please,” Rubio said to the person recording the interaction before he clearly had enough and walked away.

Hamas leaders agreed to abide by a temporary ceasefire last week as Israel attempted to negotiate for the release of hostages taken into the Gaza Strip by the terrorist group during its brutal attack on October 7. The terrorists have violated the temporary ceasefire multiple times this week, however. The Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday that its troops were attacked in multiple locations, and on Thursday, Hamas took credit for a terror attack at a bus stop in Jerusalem that killed three.
The war between Israel and Hamas entered its 55th day on Thursday after Hamas launched a brutal attack on the country on October 7, killing more than 1,200 people and taking hundreds more as hostages. Since the temporary ceasefire was agreed upon last week, 97 hostages have been released in exchange for over 200 Palestinian prisoners being held by Israel. Israel believes Hamas is hanging onto around 145 hostages in the Gaza Strip, including 15 women and children, according to The Times of Israel.
