Sen. John Fetterman, a Pennsylvania Democrat who is most widely known for having had a stroke during his election campaign and for wearing hoodies and gym shorts into senatorial votes, recently delivered a harsh message to Democratic Party strategist James Carville during an interview he did with news publication Politico, after he cautioned that President Joe Biden losing the 2024 election is a real possibility.

Carville brought up his concerns about Biden failing to secure a second term in the White House due to the president’s horrifically bad polling data. Fetterman was none too pleased with the comments, going on to cuss him out and question whether or not his opinion is relevant in an interview published on Wednesday.

“There’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November as well. I’m not worried about that. And I’m very vocal about this, too, while there are Democrats that are being very critical about the president. … I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f–k up,” Fetterman said to Politico concerning the president’s polling.

“My man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing,” Fettterman stated during the interview. “And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president. I’ll never understand that.”

Biden is currently behind former President Donald Trump in numerous polls on issues of competence and voter support in important swing states. Fetterman is not concerned about whether Biden is the lone Democrat who can defeat Trump in the 2024 election.

“I really am not worried about that because he is my guy,” Fetterman told Politico. “And he is going to be the Democrats’ guy, and I’m proud to campaign with him.”

Carville refuted the senator’s claims about his lack of relevance and said that other Democratic senators “apparently haven’t gotten the memo yet,” Politico reported.

“[Fetterman’s] colleague Sen. Casey asked me to host a fundraiser with him last week,” Carville told Politico. “Sen. Brown asked me to go to Cleveland to campaign with him.” He also said he is happy that Fetterman is “feeling better” after his stroke.

Neither individual responded to requests made by the Daily Caller for comment concerning the exchange.

Politics has become rather nasty business as of late, hasn’t it?

Regardless, the bottom line here is Biden does have a good chance of failing to nail down a second term in office. And that’s excellent news for the future of this country. Biden and the people he put in place in his administration have done significant damage to our economy and eroded our liberties in ways not even his old boss, Barack Obama, managed to do during his time in the White House.

If we want to see the country survive for our progeny, it’s critical we choose a candidate who will be able to take advantage of the dissatisfaction Americans have with the current commander-in-chief and take back the Oval Office.
