One of the actors in the new “Lady Ballers” comedy film produced and streamed on DailyWire+ streaming service was taken into custody by the Federal Bureau of Investigation following the movie’s premiere in Nashville, Tennessee last week on charges concerning his presence at the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. Looks like the weaponization of federal law enforcement is continuing on, despite its bias being revealed to the general public. That’s how brazen the deep state has become. They are not at all scared to conduct their witch hunts out in the open.
Law enforcement officers with the FBI arrested actor Siaka Massaquoi on Nov. 30 after both he and his wife, Charlotte arrived back home in the Golden State, California, after the Nashville showing of “Lady Ballers,” according to information contained in a legal defense fundraiser that has been set up in his name.
“Upon their arrival, Siaka was separated from his wife and abruptly arrested by the FBI,” fundraising page revealed. “At the time, Charlotte was told the charges had to do with January 6th; however, she was not presented with any arrest warrant.”
Here are more details on Massaquoi’s arrest from the Daily Wire:
Massaquoi, who appeared in the new comedy from The Daily Wire, was taken to the Monterey Park Jail, where he stayed overnight after being charged with four misdemeanors in connection to January 6, according to the fundraiser page.
Three years ago, approximately 20 FBI agents dressed in tactical gear raided Massaquoi’s North Hollywood home just before 6 a.m. on a Thursday — about six months after that infamous day in 2021, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Video footage from the Capitol breach posted by StopHate, a Texas-based activist group, claims to show Massaquoi inside the Capitol building.
“He was at the threshold of the door for maybe a minute, & even helping the police direct the flow of foot traffic out the door. Crime?” the group went on to say in a December 2 post.
The actor posted the group’s footage on his own X account saying, “Witness why I was raided 2 years ago and recently arrested and charged Nov 30th 2023 almost 3 years later.”

“Lady Ballers” is not the only conservative-leaning film that Massaquoi has appeared in, having starred in “Californians Move to Texas,” a series produced by the satire site, The Babylon Bee. Seth Dillon, the CEO of the outlet, referred to the arrest of the actor as “political persecution.”
“If you’ve watched our Californians Move to Texas series, then you’re already familiar with Siaka. You know how funny and talented he is,” Dillon stated in a social media post. “But he isn’t just a talented actor and friend of the Babylon Bee; he also happens to be a Trump supporter. And he’s being punished for it by our government.”
Dillon made a post on Monday where he included a photo of Massaquoi’s arrest warrant, which revealed the charges the actor was facing, which include knowingly entering a restricted building and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building.

Is pursuing such charges a good use of the tax dollars that fund the FBI? I thought they were supposed to be investigating kidnappings, profiling serial killers, and assisting with anti-terrorism activities from other agencies in the federal government? Oh. That’s right. They think actual patriots are terrorists. My bad.
Of course, there were bad people who did bad things on Jan. 6. I’m not denying that. However, a lot of the video footage presented from that day demonstrates that a lot of those who are facing criminal charges in connection with the riot are being pursued for political purposes, namely intimidation designed to silence conservatives who question the official results of the 2020 presidential election. Hard to deny that’s what’s happening when you see the videos for yourself.
Although authorities never charged Massaquoi, the fundraiser’s page said that the family has “feared that this day might come, in which the government would charge him for something he didn’t do,” adding the actor has been “scrutinized at airports for several years.”
The fundraiser for Massaquoi has raised nearly $40,000 of its $115,000 goal to cover the legal expenses. The campaign page also requested to keep the family in prayer support as the couple is expecting their first child.
Jeremy Boreing, the director of “Lady Ballers” and the co-founder of the Daily Wire defended Massaquoi on X.
“Siaka is a good man and a huge talent,” Boreing said. “The FBI arresting a man at the airport three years after the event – and after raiding his house and not charging him already – and then only charging him with misdemeanors is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever heard.”
