Actor and author Kirk Cameron, an outspoken Christian, recently sat down for an interview on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” program where he criticized public schools — which are funded by local, state, and federal governments with your tax dollars — for pushing the woke agenda down their throats, rather than either being neutral — if that’s even possible — or teaching them eternal truths such as faith and hope. Such things would disrupt the plans that the liberals have for attempting to establish a utopian society. Everyone needs to be on the same page with their beliefs, which is why progressives try so hard to annihilate all beliefs but their own.

Cameron’s comments Friday on “Wake Up America” came as the New York Postreported a New York City elementary school is handing out to kids as young as 5 a Black Lives Matter coloring book that highlights “queer and transgender affirming” lessons, revolutionary politics, and demands to “fund counselors not cops” in an effort to teach them about Black History Month.
“We can do better than this,” Cameron stated during his interview on the show. “If the rules really are diversity, equity and inclusion, why keep guys like me and thousands and thousands of parents out of libraries who want to read books about the founding of America?”
Personally, I feel there are two solutions to the problems posed by public education. You can either make all education a private market issue and force schools to become competitors where they have to produce top notch results or go out of business. You know, like any other company out there that has a service or product to push. This allows people complete freedom to send their children to schools that support and teach their values and worldview and to avoid schools that don’t.
Another solution is to abolish public schools altogether, shut down the Department of Education and let parents homeschool or put together their own schools. It’s sort of similar to the first solution.
“What it really is all about is faith and hope and kindness and self-control. I think these are the things that we need to get into the hearts and heads of our children, or we’re going to keep going down this rabbit hole that’s going to lead us to a very bad place,” Cameron explained.
During the program, Cameron shared some good news, revealing he and his wife are soon to become grandparents as their daughter is expecting a child in July. That’s fantastic to hear.
Schools are no longer institutions concerned with creating well adjusted adults ready to head out into the real world. They have been taken over by progressives and transformed into indoctrination centers. Their sole purpose is to take kids and make them into individuals who view the state as their parent.
If you beat that into a kid’s head for over a decade, forty hours a week, how can you not expect them to come out a robot plugged into the hive mind?
Pull your kids out now, folks. Put them in private Christian schools or homeschool. Plenty of parents, even single ones, get it done. This is the future of our nation we’re talking about.
