A group that was originally founded by Vermont Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders, a socialist, is now asking all leftist voters in the state of Michigan to cast a vote of “uncommitted” in the Democratic Party primary as a means of protesting against President Joe Biden’s handling of the conflict in Gaza, according to a report published by the New York Times on Wednesday. Let the in-fighting begin!
The left has a way of devouring one another when someone dares to step away from the official pre-approved agenda/belief system. Thou shalt not defy Democratic dogma, is the top commandment in the law of liberals.

Biden’s support of Israel in its war against Hamas has angered Democratic voters in the battleground state, where the Muslim and Arab American communities make up a sizable voting bloc. Sanders’ organization, Our Revolution, will send out an email on Wednesday to 87,000 individuals in Michigan urging them to vote “uncommitted” on Feb. 27 to “push Biden to change course on Gaza now,” according to the NYT.
“I am working with some people who feel like they will never vote for Joe Biden, but there are many, many, many I feel will vote for Joe Biden on Nov. 5 if he changes course,” former Democratic Rep. Andy Levin of Michigan, who put his name down on the letter, said during an interview with the NYT. “This is the best way I can help Joe Biden.”
Levin argued that Biden could lose the general election in Michigan to former President Donald Trump if he doesn’t change his position on the issue. Trump is currently leading Biden in the battleground state by five points, according to the RealClearPolitics average.
Look, the only way anyone can help Joe Biden is if they firmly insist he steps down as president and suspends his presidential campaign. The man is clearly suffering from cognitive decline and it has reached a fairly severe point and will only grow worse as years roll by. He’s in his eighties for crying out loud. Time to call it a day.
The group is also reaching out to 225,000 people in other states across the country. They are planning to execute a plan that involves both phone and text banking, along with events on college campuses in Michigan.
Larry Cohen, the chairman of the organization, told the outlet that he hopes the effort will secure support from at least 10% of Democratic primary voters in the battleground state, requiring roughly 20,000 votes.
Biden took Michigan in 2020 by a very thin margin of 154,000 votes, securing the vast majority of Muslim voters across the United States. Michigan is home to close to 200,000 Muslim registered voters. Of that number, a whopping 145,000 showed up at the polls in the last presidential election. That’s astounding. If we could get as many Republicans to vote as are registered, we’d nab victory in every election most likely.
