The nation’s leading professional race baiter, the Rev. Al Sharpton, just made a comment about the current crisis unfolding along the southern border that is sure to make many of his left-wing followers very upset. Sharpton referred to the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants flooding into the United States as an “invasion,” which is a big no-no if you are a progressive.
Sharpton’s remarks were made during the Monday edition of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program during an interview with Connecticut Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy.
“What is being done to get the public to really rise up in various states to say to their senators that they want to see the borders — the border issue resolved?” Sharpton went on to ask Murphy.

“I mean, you’re getting migrants beating up policemen in the streets of New York,” Sharpton added during the segment. “You are seeing an influx of migrants all over the country that, frankly, have people outraged.”
So now Sharpton suddenly cares about police officers, eh? Seems kind of weird given his attempts to make a pretty penny off each and every time a black person is killed by a police officer.
The race activist then went on to ask Murphy if there was “some kind of public pressure” put on him and other senators by American citizens who are asking, “Why are you allowing this to continue?”
“Because at the end of the day, senators have to deal with their voters,” Sharpton told the senator.
“And at the same, in the bill you give money to Gaza, to civilians in Gaza, and Israel,” Sharpton continued. “But the border, I mean, we’re looking every day at the invasion of migrants, and they are playing a time game with politics on this?”
Several major cities across the country who claimed to be “sanctuary cities” that would not cooperate with federal immigration officials — think New York City, Chicago, and Denver to name a few — are now struggling big time as they are being practically overrun by hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants who have crossed the border since spring 2022.
Many of the immigrants that have hit the streets of New York are from the Lone Star State, that’s Texas, y’all, which has sent over 100,000 migrants to various sanctuary cities in order to help reduce the strain on border towns.

Last week, several illegal migrants were arrested after allegedly beating up NYPD officers near Times Square. Several were subsequently released without bail.
Former President Donald Trump has been criticized by the media for repeatedly using the term “invasion” to refer to the hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants crossing the porous southern border.
As recently as December, an article in The Washington Post called such language “dehumanizing.”
“This is an invasion. This is like a military invasion,” former President Trump went on to state during a campaign event in Reno, Nevada back in December. “Drugs, criminals, gang members and terrorists are pouring into our country at record levels. We’ve never seen anything like it. They’re taking over our cities.”
Say what you will about Trump’s “mean tweets,” but at least he didn’t allow the country to be invaded by non-citizens, which, of course, has opened up a pathway for terrorists of various religious and ethnic backgrounds to gain entrance to the interior of the United States. As a result, don’t be surprised if you hear of a terrorist attack sometime in the near future taking place on our own soil. This is why action needs to be taken immediately to seal off the border.
Build the wall, enforce the law.
