A brand new Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll has revealed that former President Donald Trump is stomping a mud hole in President Joe Biden by taking a 15 point lead over the incumbent commander-in-chief. The figure is a doubling of the amount of margin of victory Trump had in 2020. During the last presidential race, Trump whooped Biden in Iowa by a total of 8 percentage points.
What does this mean?
Clearly, it’s a repudiation of Biden’s economic and geopolitical policies. The president has wrecked the country in more ways than one. The evidence can be beheld every time you step foot in a grocery store. The price of basic food and other supplies has skyrocketed, due in large part to the insanely high inflation rate.

- 48% of the state’s likely voters say they favor Trump, compared to 33% who say they back Biden, and 15% saying they would vote for someone else. The remainder said they would either not vote or were uncertain.
- 29% say they approve of the way Biden has handled his job as president, while 69% disapprove.
- 79% say things in the U.S. have gotten off on the wrong track, compared to 17% who say the country is going in the right direction.
- 56% say Biden, 81, it too old to serve another term, while 25% say his age is somewhat of a concern.
- 42% say Trump’s age, 77, is not a concern, compared to 35% who say it is somewhat of a concern, and 22% saying he is too old to serve again.
- 47% say they have a very unfavorable view of Biden, while 21% say they have a mostly unfavorable opinion of him
- 12% say they have a very favorable opinion of Biden, compared to 19% who say their opinion of him is mostly favorable.
- 40% say they have a very unfavorable opinion of Trump, while 7% say they have a mostly unfavorable view of him.
- 25% say they have a very favorable view of the former president, while 23% say they have a mostly favorable opinion of him
One of the biggest concerns for American voters right now, aside from inflation, is the border crisis and the lack of action that has been taken to stop it. Thousands of illegal migrants are crossing the southern border every single day. Many of them have a lengthy rap sheet they are trying to get away from, so they come to the United States. However, it’s not so they can get a fresh start and fix their lives. It’s so they can commit the same crimes they did back home, but without the same set of consequences.
Biden hasn’t done anything to stop this issue, which leads many to believe he’s doing it on purpose. Perhaps to get more voters for the Democratic Party ahead of November? Or maybe increase the population in certain areas to get more representation? Either way it’s bad news for Americans.
Just look what happened to Georgia nursing student Laken Riley. An illegal migrant who had been caught not once, but TWICE, was released both times, which resulted in his being able to assault and murder her in cold blood.
Trump would never have allowed this to happen under his watch, and the American people know it. And that’s bad news for Biden.
