A video featuring everyone’s least favorite Democratic Socialist Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, that was taken back in 2021, has resurfaced in light of all the attacks we’ve witnessed on our ally in the Middle East, Israel. The footage shows AOC clearly upset by the fact that Congress voted in favor of providing funds for Israel to help with their Iron Dome missile defense system, which was recently used to defend the Jewish state against a missile and drone assault launched on the nation by Iran.
I doubt anyone is surprised to see the clearly antisemitic member of the “Squad” throw a hissy fit over the idea of Israel receiving any sort of help from the United States, especially given that she’s made it abundantly clear she thinks the Jewish people who live in that country are nothing more than vile, evil colonialists. Still, it reveals just what hardcore liberals really think of the Jewish nation, who happen to be one of our greatest and only trustworthy allies against radical Islamic terrorism in that part of the world.
According to The American Tribune:
Iran launched over 300 missiles and drones at Israel in what it described as a retaliatory attack against the Jewish state over a deadly strike on an Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria. However, nearly all of the threats were neutralized thanks to Israeli air defense systems.
Within the United States, there is substantial polarization between pro-Israel and anti-Israel sentiment, the latter perhaps best demonstrated by the progressive House leaders in “The Squad.” This far-left coalition of congressmen and congresswomen features names such as AOC, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Conservatives and those supporting Israel have used the footage of AOC crying to exemplify the palpable anti-Israel sentiment that exists within progressive American politics. Avi Kaner posted the clip on X with the caption, “Congresswoman @AOC cried in 2021 when Congress voted to fund the Iron Dome system that saved countless lives tonight.”
Not long after the vote concerning the Iron Dome, AOC put out a statement concerning the passage of the measure.
In it she claimed, “I believe strongly that Congress should take greater scrutiny with all military funding across the world,” she stated, adding that “for far too long, the U.S. has handed unconditional aid to the Israeli government.”
But here’s the kicker. Ocasio-Cortez, who apparently has an intelligence quotient somewhere south of a toddler’s shoe size, voted “present” instead of voting against the legislation.
“To those I have disappointed — I am deeply sorry,” she continued. “To those who believe this reasoning is insufficient or cowardice — I understand.”
The New York Congresswoman then went on to whine that the bill was “rushed” to a vote, which prevented it from being properly scrutinized. You mean like how Obamacare had to be passed in order to find out what was in it?
“In addition to opposing the substance of the Iron Dome supplemental bill, the process of bringing it to the House floor was deeply unjust,” her statement blabbed on and on. “A funding leap this significant in a policy area that is already so charged and fraught for many communities, particularly our own, deserves the respect of a proper legislative process.”

AOC also argued that the passage of the bill would hinder human rights initiatives and dignity around the world. “It became clear that this vote would risk a severe devolution of the good faith community fabric that allows us to responsibly join in a struggle for human rights and dignity everywhere,” she said, “from Palestine to The Bronx and Queens.”
“Yes, I wept,” the Squad member said, discussing the state of her emotions after the vote passed. “I wept at the complete lack of care for the human beings that are impacted by these decisions, I wept at an institution choosing a path of maximum volatility and minimum consideration for its own political convenience. And I wept at the complete lack of regard I often feel our party has to its most vulnerable and endangered members and communities — because the death threats and dangerous vitriol we’d inevitably receive by rushing such a sensitive, charged, and under-considered vote weren’t worth delaying it for even a few hours to help us do the work necessary to open a conversation of understanding.”
Ocasio-Cortez wept over the fact that a country was being helped to defend itself against terrorist attacks from an enemy we share in common. Isn’t that the most vile thing you’ve ever heard? She’s sad that the people of Israel would have the means to defend themselves, their families, heck, their children from being blown up by radical Islamic terrorists who would just as soon chop her head off as to look at her. It’s mind-blowing.
We have to get her out of office, folks. Like yesterday.
