Senate Republicans Secure Rare Victory For Americans

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a vote on Thursday, opting to reject a judicial nominee that allowed a male serial rapist who is transgender and deluded into thinking he’s actually a female, to be housed inside a women’s prison. Once again, the pure insanity and lack of common sense on display in our modern era completely blows my mind. How far we have fallen from being a once great society. It’s painful to watch the implosion.

President Joe Biden nominated Sarah Netburn to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, but the nomination was blocked by the Senate Judiciary Committee in a 10-11 vote. In August 2022, Netburn recommended the transfer of male inmate William McClain, who goes by July Justine Shelby, into a female prison despite his record of sex crimes, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia broke away from his fellow Democrats to vote against Netburn.

“So you took a six-foot-two serial rapist, serial child rapist, with male genitalia, and he said ‘You know, I’d like to be in a women’s prison,” Republican Sen. Ted Cruz from Texas went on to say during a committee hearing on Netburn’s judicial confirmation back in May. “And your answer was, ‘That sounds great to me.’”

Cruz just straight up spit that fire, for real, for real.

Well, that’s what the Gen Z folk would say the Texas constitutional expert said. I’m just doing my part to try and bring in the younger crowd with the message of liberty. I can’t help it if I sound stupid doing it, okay?

McClain was convicted in 1994 of molesting a 9-year old boy and raping a 17-year old girl, the Beacon reported. McClain was released in 2015, then was later sentenced in 2017 for distributing child pornography.

While being housed at the women’s facility, McClain has reportedly been sexually harassing female inmates. Gee, who could have possibly seen such a thing happening? So shocking that a biological male playing pretend would dare to try and get some sweet loving from inmates in a women’s prison. Could anyone have predicted this?

The answer, of course, is yes. In fact, anyone and everyone with more than a pocketful of brain cells knew how this situation would turn out.

Federal prison officials objected to the transfer, but Netburn claimed that concerns about the transfer being “traumatizing and possibly dangerous” were “overblown,” the Beacon reported.

When confronted by Cruz during the committee hearing, Netburn referred to the male defendant as a “she” and said that “every person who is incarcerated has a right to feel safe in their space.”

“It is clear, on your record, your political ideology matters a heck of a lot more than the rights of those women that you endangered,” Cruz remarked during the hearing. “I think you’re a radical. I think you have no business being a judge.”

The Texas senator is just saying the quiet part out loud. All of us who aren’t mentally ill know that a judge who would endanger lives by placing a man in a female prison should probably never sit on any sort of federal court bench. Any court bench, really.

Glad she failed to be confirmed.
