You’d think something as simple as having Vice President Kamala Harris’s name listed as the official nominee on the Democratic Party’s national platform would be done without much of a problem before the Democratic National Convention, right? Wrong. In fact, it lists President Joe Biden as the nominee, despite Harris having taken over the spot weeks ago. If the Democrats had a middle name it would be “Incompetent.”

The mistake, according to Trending Politics News, was revealed to the whole world thanks to a screenshot that was taken and shared online where the oh so observant eyes of the internet found that Biden was listed as the official nominee throughout the multi-page document. Somebody is probably going to be handed a pink slip for this.

The platform traditionally plays host to shared policy statements, goals, and values for both the Republican and Democratic Parties and are adopted or revamped during presidential elections. Delegates on the floor at this week’s Democratic convention are expected to endorse motions including expanded protections for transgender Americans and calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war. Embarrassing oversights list Biden as the party’s champion on cancer research, infrastructure investments, and increases taxes on corporations.

“With a second term in office, President Biden will continue to work to prevent cancer, detect it early, deliver innovation, care for families facing cancer, and, ultimately, end cancer as we know it,” the platform goes on to state, according to the report. “Thanks to President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Minority Business Development Agency is now a permanent part of the Commerce Department, where it’s training underserved entrepreneurs. The SBA’s innovative Community Navigators program meanwhile helped 350,000 small businesses tap into resources that have helped them grow. In a second Biden term, we’ll make that Navigator program permanent, and include new lenders, new markets, and fairer taxes.” The unaltered platform was still visible for all to see on the party’s website, www.Democrats.org, as of Monday morning.

The president is expected to deliver a speech in front of the audience attending the convention on Monday, an address that left-leaning publication Politico is calling a “hero’s sendoff,” after top Democrats like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former President Barack Obama, and many others, practically shoved him out of the presidential race. Of course, he really shouldn’t have been in it in the first place given his obvious cognitive decline, but that’s a different story for a different day.

The vice president is scheduled to give a speech on Thursday where she’ll officially accept the party’s presidential nomination.

Former President Donald Trump has excoriated Democrats for committing a “coup” by “installing” Harris as the nominee after 14 million Democratic primary voters preferred Biden. Mainstream media outlets like the Washington Post are already accusing the Republican leader of laying the groundwork for a blanket refusal to accept the results of the election should Harris win. Trump maintains that Harris is dodging debates because she is “not smart enough” to tackle the pressing issues facing America in a face-to-face encounter.

We’re only a couple of months out from the election. Be praying for the fate of our nation. Spend time talking to family and friends about how important it is they get out and cast a ballot in favor of Donald Trump. Especially if they have been negatively impacted by the awful job Biden and Harris have done in this current administration.
