With the death toll caused by Hurricane Helene on the rise, Vice President Kamala Harris is being raked over the coals — rightfully so — for how she has responded to the natural disaster. Her response is the same one she’s given to the border crisis for the last three and a half years: Nothing. Harris has done absolutely nothing to aid the people impacted by Helene, which is shameful to say the least. When the store hit Florida, it was a Category 4 storm and flattened much of the state, leaving 2 million folks without power and many individuals still unaccounted for across a total of six states.
With all of this happening, former President Donald Trump has already been in the headlines for doing what both President Joe Biden and Harris have failed to do. He traveled down to Valdosta, Georgia where he took a personal look at the damage that was done by Helene. Not only that, but he provided some aid of his own while there. And meanwhile, Harris has not said or done anything to help these poor people out. This speaks volumes about her lack of personal character and leadership ability.
Here’s more from Trending Politics News:
Stephen Miller, a former advisor to Trump, expressed his frustration over Harris’s priorities. “Where the hell is Kamala? Who is running the country? People are fighting for their lives right now and Kamala is drinking ritzy champagne with the limousine liberals in San Francisco,” Miller tweeted.

Others have echoed similar feelings. “I don’t think many people realize how badly Asheville was hit by Hurricane Helene. Where is Kamala?” wrote commentator Ian Miles Cheong, pointing out the Vice President’s absence from the affected regions. The lack of federal leadership in the immediate response to Helene has left many wondering why Harris has not made a similar visit to the disaster zone.

“Really weird that the press aren’t tearing Kamala Harris apart for posing on Air Force Two during a major disaster. I seem to recall that being a huge deal when George W. Bush did it,” one user said on social media platform x, making a reference to the infamous image of Bush on Air Force One during Hurricane Katrina.

Just an oversight by our stalwart journalistic establishment, I'm sure.

When President Biden was asked if he had anything to say to the victims of the storm he answered by saying, “Yes, it’s tragic. Matter of fact, we’re trying to get the exact number. My FEMA advisor is on the ground in Florida right now.” When pressed about whether more resources could be provided, Biden bluntly stated, “No, we’ve given them, we have pre-planned a significant amount of it.”
“Biden is in Delaware right now in one of his many estates… Lyin’ Kamala Harris [is] in San Francisco, a city that she has totally destroyed,” Trump went on to say on Friday during a campaign stop. “That’s where she is right now… at fundraising events with her radical left lunatic donors, when big parts of our country have been devastated by that massive hurricane and are underwater, with many, many people dead.”
“At her Sunday night campaign rally in Las Vegas, Harris said, ‘I know that everyone here sends their thoughts and prayers for the folks who have been so devastated by that hurricane and the ensuing events, in Florida, in Georgia, the Carolinas, and other impacted states.’ Afterward, the Vice President canceled her Monday campaign stops to return to Washington, where she’s scheduled to receive a briefing on the status of emergency response and recovery efforts, according to the White House,” the report concluded.
