Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, the would-be assassin who tried to kill former President Donald Trump on Sept. 14, 2024 while he was playing a round of golf at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, allegedly left some kind of note with one of his friends expressing his clear intent to assassinate Trump. Forbes stated that the note, which was handwritten, is a confession of his failure to succeed in his mission. Which is good news for us, not only because we need Trump to win the election in November, but because his death would have caused massive and likely violent civil unrest between liberals and some conservatives.
Breitbart News revealed that the note said, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you…I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.” He then said, “I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”
This, ladies and gentlemen, is not the ramblings of some madman. Here is a dude that clearly has all of his mental faculties. He’s just plain evil. A man who has been brainwashed into believing the progressive agenda is what is best for our nation and will do anything to remove those who stand in its way. We need to accept reality. People like this do exist and they are more bold than ever before. We cannot allow this sort of thing to continue. A fight needs to happen, but not a physical one. It’s a fight of ideas. Conservatives need to be more insistent that our set of beliefs are the correct course and work toward debunking the idea that progressive thought is the way to utopia.
The note was allegedly contained in a box which Routh gave to an unidentified person and which was not opened until after Routh’s arrest following the alleged assassination attempt. Since his arrest, the initial charges against Routh have been gun-based. Breitbart News reported that he is a felon barred from gun possession, yet he possessed a SKS rifle on the perimeter of Trump’s golf course. ABC 11 reported “prosecutors levied two charges against him: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
Routh needs to be charged with trying to kill the president and not just weapons violations. This wasn’t some oopsie with a gun. It was a pre-meditated assassination attempt on a former president and current presidential candidate. He needs to be made an example of in order to deter potential future assassins from trying to knock off Trump. Time for the federal law enforcement system to do its actual job.
