Vice President Kamala Harris thought she might be able to win over things with Black voters, a demographic the Democratic Party used to have on lock, but has been hemorrhaging during this election cycle, by doing an interview on “The Breakfast Club” radio show. The host of the program, Charlamagne Tha God, who is leftist and friendly toward Harris, asked her a series of questions concerning how she planned to help lift up Black Americans if she were to win the election.
Well, things didn’t go the way she planned. The number of listeners who tuned in to hear her interview were only a small fraction of those who listened to the interview the show did with Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida. Ouch. That’s got to hurt.
Charlamagne is getting ratioed on every Kamala video he posts lmao š pic.twitter.com/Emn1oqLIgY

Donaldsā appearance, which spanned J6, reparations, and racism in America, in two weeks has accumulated upward of 655,000 views on YouTube compared to an anemic 191,000 for Harris one day later. The Democrat pulled out all the stops, agreeing with Charlamagne that former President Donald Trump is a āfascist,ā an allegation first made by Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump who wrote in his new book that the Republican is āfascist at his core.ā Another theme of her hourlong appearance was suggesting Trump is both āweakā and a threat to the country.
āThe man is really quite weak,ā Ms. Harris went on to say, the New York Times stated. āHeās weak. Itās a sign of weakness that you want to please dictators and seek their flattery and favor.ā President Trump, answering questions at an earlier event this week, refused to state whether he has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin since leaving office but that it would be āsmartā if he had done so. Asked by the host whether the Justice Department has moved too slowly in trying to prosecute Trump before the election, Harris demurred. āThe court should handle that, and Iām going to handle November,ā she said.
On Instagram, the āBreakfast Clubā host posted numerous clips from the interview only to be hit with an avalanche of critical comments from both those on the left and the right. āGenocide is what she stands for,ā one pro-Palestinian follower wrote in response to a video. Another reminded Charlamagne that he gave President Joe Biden a pass when he appeared on the program and stated that Black Americans āaināt Blackā if they voted for Trump in 2020. āI heard her say she was born in the middle class a million times lol then not answer anything,ā wrote another.
Charlamagne definitely provided some push back when it came to the narrative that Black men who weren’t coming out of the wood work to support her in the same numbers they did for both Biden and Hillary Clinton, who, by the way, failed as a presidential candidate not once, but TWICE. Just thought I’d reiterate that fact. He also slammed former President Barack Obama for “finger-waving at Black men” when he gave a speech during a recent event.
āWhat is happening is that we are all working on reminding people of what is at stake,ā Harris replied. āI need to earn every vote, which is why Iām here having this candid conversation with you and your listeners,ā she replied.
The campaign to get Trump elected president is very much aware that siphoning off Black voters could be the key to winning in November.
TPN concluded it’s report by elaborating on this fact, saying, “In cities like Pennsylvania, the Republicanās team has devoted considerable resources to reaching out to both Black and Latino communities in the heavily Democratic Philadelphia. At the same time, progressive local leaders are going public with their concern that Harris is not working as hard as possible to court voters who say they feel taken for granted by the Democratic Party.”
