We’re less than four weeks out from one of the most consequential elections in the history of the United States, and the United Kingdom’s Daily Mail has decided to bring on some surprising additional help to work their way through what is shaping up to be one of the most chaotic times we’ve experienced in recent memory. One such individual is none other than former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, along with the former president’s biographer, Michael Wolff. Both will be contributing columns to the publication for the election coming on Nov. 5.
Conway also served as a Senior Counselor to Trump from 2017 to 2020 when he was serving as the president.
“This election is arguably one of the most consequential in our lifetimes and we’re laser-focused on reporting the stories only the Mail can deliver,” stated Katie Davies, US Editor-in-Chief of DailyMail. “Kellyanne Conway and Michael Wolff have both dominated the national discourse, are fiercely opinionated, and will provide readers, regardless of political affiliation, with unrivaled and behind-the-scenes insights into the 2024 race.”
“I look forward to helping readers make sense of the polls, the political differences and policy implications in what continues to be a wild, unprecedented presidential cycle,’” Conway remarked. “Just as I do on Fox News and Fox Nation, my goal will be to push past the soundbites to provide a substantive look at the issues, ideas, individuals and images that readers crave. I can’t wait to be a part of the sharp, incisive conversation at DailyMail.com!”

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Conway attended Trinity College in Washington, D.C., where she earned a degree in political science. Conway began her career as a pollster in the 1990s, working with Republican candidates and eventually co-founding her own polling company, The Polling Company/WomanTrend. Her work primarily focused on understanding the attitudes and behaviors of female voters, which made her an influential figure in GOP circles. Conway rose to national prominence during the 2016 U.S. presidential election when she joined Donald Trump’s campaign as a senior advisor. She later became the campaign manager, making history as the first woman to manage a winning presidential campaign. Following Trump’s victory, Conway served as Counselor to the President, a senior role in the Trump administration, where she was known for her strong defense of the president and frequent media appearances.
During her tenure, Conway became a polarizing figure. She remained in the role until August 2020, when she announced her resignation, citing the need to focus on her family. Despite stepping back from her official role, Conway remains an influential voice. Throughout her career, she has been lauded for her strategy and her handling of media and public perception, making her one of the most well-known and controversial figures in recent American politics.
The Daily Mail is one of the UK’s most widely read publications. When it was first launched, it was created to be what is known as a “middle-market” newspaper, which means it’s core audience was originally going to be working-class folks and those in the middle class. However, due to the easy, breezy reading and language used to report on the important stories and topics of the day, it quickly gained a massive readership.
What was likely unexpected was how popular it would become here in the United States, owing much of its success to its coverage of U.S. politics and celebrity culture. It has a reputation for covering human interest stories too.
