Democratic Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, who is a member of the infamous “Squad,” is getting hammered after publishing a controversial post on social media platform X concerning the conflict unfolding in the Middle East between Israel, Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas. Pressley denounced recent actions taken by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
“Netanyahu’s invasion of Lebanon is putting millions of people at risk, forcing thousands to be displaced, and inciting a regional war,”the Massachusetts representative said. This was immediately met with severe backlash due to Israel being blasted by over 150 missiles fired by Iran. Now, it’s possible the post was scheduled ahead of time, but it was published just before the missile assault against Israel started. The cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were targeted in that strike.
Critics of the post accused Pressley of trying to downplay the aggression being shown by Iran toward the Jewish State.

The escalating violence must end. In Lebanon, in Gaza, and across the region.

Nice timing on the tweet as Iran is launching ballistic missiles.

The congresswoman, who has often been vocal about her support for Palestinian rights, appeared to condemn Israel’s self-defense measures without acknowledging the missile attacks that prompted the military response. Her office has yet to issue a formal statement addressing the backlash. Iran’s aggressive move came in response to Israel’s extensive military operations in Lebanon, which involved the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and a ground invasion into the southern regions of Lebanon.
Evil witch.

This isn’t just a “mistake.” It represents the anti-Semitic worldview of many of today’s leading progressives. And as we’ve seen in the year since the attack on Israel by Hamas forces, it’s hardly a minority view. Clearly, folks are being brainwashed against Jews by prominent professors and influencers on social media. Awful ideas are taking root in the hearts and minds of young people. Let us hope that people wake up from their stupor.
