Well, folks, it’s officially done and over with. Former President Donald Trump will be the 47th president, having defeated Vice President Kamala Harris handily in the 2024 election. In fact, Harris actually called Trump on the phone to congratulate him and concede the race, according to a senior aide for the vice president. The aide revealed that Harris talked about how important it was to have a peaceful transfer of power and to be a leader for every American.
You just know that was the most painful telephone call she’s ever made in her life. And for some reason, knowing that fact slaps a big grin between my ears. One of Harris’ aides revealed the team had spent very little time before today crafting any kind of concession speech or one that would be delivered if she won the race. Instead, the bulk of the message the team came up with was one that encouraged people to “hold on” because they were expected the results from the election to still not be certain at this time.
Surprise!
Americans don’t want progressive economic policies. Nor do they want an invasion of illegal migrants and an open border. We don’t want our kids infected with gender ideology and confusion or for them to be exposed to sexual predators in makeup and high heels at their local libraries. We. Don’t. Want. It.
Thus, we all went to the polls and let our voices be heard. Get the message.

President Joe Biden also plans to call Trump on Wednesday and also plans to speak publicly about the election results, according to a White House official. Biden’s reaction to Trump’s victory overall is set to include all of the things Trump never did when Biden won in 2020 — a call to congratulate him, an invitation to the White House and an offer to attend his inauguration, the White House official said.
NBC News called the presidential race Wednesday morning, projecting that Trump won just after 5:30 a.m. ET, capturing 276 electoral votes to Harris’ 223. For his part, Trump declared victory around 2:30 a.m. ET in remarks to his supporters at an election party in Florida. While Nevada, Michigan and Arizona were too close to call on Wednesday morning, Trump carried several critical battleground states where both candidates spent a considerable amount of time: Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
Don’t you just love the little dig NBC took at Trump for not calling Biden in 2020? They are so bitter over the loss they just can’t help themselves. But hey, that’s okay. Conservatives won. The little tantrums the left continues to throw only sweetens the victory.
“Harris, 60, launched her presidential campaign after Biden, 81, withdrew from the race on July 21 and endorsed her as the Democratic Party’s nominee. Biden dropped out after his devastating performance in a June presidential debate against Trump, after which key members of the party expressed deep concerns about his age as well as his ability to win in the general election and to serve another four years in the White House,” the report said.
Guess picking a candidate that has no real record of accomplishments, that appeared to lack fully functioning brain cells, couldn’t talk without a written script, and was highly unlikable wasn’t as good of an idea as it seemed at the time.
