President-elect Donald Trump is a man who believes thoroughly in the concept and application of true justice, which he’s demonstrating by going on the offensive against those who attacked him mercilessly during this last election cycle. Some will, no doubt, call this vengeance, but it’s not. It’s simply applying the law equally to all people. Those who have done illegal things need to be held accountable to the law in some form, whether criminally or in civil court.
Information shared by conservative pundit Collin Rugg has revealed that the president-elect is now filing a lawsuit against pollster Ann Selzer, alleging that she rigged an Iowa poll in order to help sway the results of the 2024 presidential election. He also stated that he would be bringing a suit against “60 Minutes” for selectively editing the answers provided by Vice President Kamala Harris during her interview on the program.
“In my opinion, it was fraud, and it was election interference. You know, she’s got me right always,” Trump stated during a press event at Mar-a-Lago. “She’s a very good pollster. She knows what she was doing.”

Trump also said, “I’m not doing this because I want to, I’m doing this because I feel I have an obligation to.”

Trump’s announcement comes on the heels of a victorious defamation suit against ABC News. The network’s star anchor, George Stephanopoulos, said multiple times Trump was found “liable for rape,” when he was actually found liable for sexual abuse. As a result, ABC will contribute $15 million to Trump’s future presidential library.
“The people in Iowa, their newspaper had a very, very good pollster who got it right all the time,” Trump explained to the media. “Then just before the election, she said I was going to lose by four points and it became the biggest story of all time, all over the world.”
Selzer predicted in a poll three days before the election that Kamala Harris would top Trump 47 percent to 44 percent because of older women showing out to vote for reproductive rights. The poll gave Democrats false hope that Harris would win the White House decisively. Ultimately, Trump won Iowa by 13 points. Trump blasted the poll in a post on Truth Social at the time.
“In fact, it’s not even close! All polls, except for one heavily skewed toward the Democrats by a Trump hater who called it totally wrong the last time, have me up, BY A LOT,” he stated at the time.
Selzer, who, at the time, had an A+ for her accuracy, became the top pollster in the state after correctly predicting that Barack Obama would win the Iowa caucus against Hillary Clinton when he ran for president in 2008.
“Would I have liked to make this announcement after a final poll aligned with election day results? Of course,” she said. “It’s ironic that it’s just the opposite.”
