Alex Bruesewitz, a 27-year-old adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, collapsed while delivering a speech on Sunday during an event for the New York Young Republicans Club, causing massive concern among conservatives and Trump supporters all over the country, who have began to pray for the young man and his health. Bruesewitz was on stage giving the introduction for Trump aide Dan Scavino when the incident occurred, according to a report from the New York Post.
“Oh no, what I do? I’m forgetting my words,” he went on to say in a video published on X. Yeah, that’s a clear sign something is going wrong cognitively. There are many, many such conditions that cause these kind of issues. One of the most concerning, of course, is a stroke.

The Western Journal then reports that Bruesewitz slurs a word while a distressed look appears on his face. He grasps the podium and a few seconds later slides to the floor.
Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, a former aide of British conservative politician Nigel Farage, said later that Bruesewtiz appeared to be fine, the Post reported.
“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz, and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said, ‘Alex, you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,’” Kassam went on to remark. “But he’s recuperating back there, so give him a big cheer, so he’ll hear you,” he said.
Despite the positive words, many were concerned.
“I’m here at the event. I’m praying my friend, young @alexbruesewitz , who’s just a few days younger than my own son, will make a full recovery. Please join me in praying for Alex,” Jeff Clark said on X.

Trump himself called into the event and attempted to comfort the crowd saying, “I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun. There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex because he’s a very special guy.”
Having a health scare like that, especially at a young age, can be very disconcerting. Hopefully, after a thorough check up with doctors and specialists, they can identify what happened and take steps to ensure it doesn’t sneak up on Bruesewitz again.
The fact that Trump checked in on his adviser is a prime example of his integrity and personal character. He cares about those who work for him, despite the picture the media attempts to paint of him being a rich guy who doesn’t have an ounce of concern for those he believes are “beneath” him.
Send prayers for Alex during this time of recovery.
