Scott Jennings, a Republican contributor for CNN — as rare as a unicorn pooping rainbows — caused Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell to have a full-on meltdown during a conversation on Monday concerning whether or not Elon Musk is a Nazi. It’s absolutely ludicrous to see this being a an actual issue for people. Look at Musk’s history of support for Israel. And how about the Anti-Defamation League coming to his defense? Or most recently Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? Give it a rest already.

A report from The Western Journal says the issue came up due to Musk having made a gesture from his heart to the audience at a rally in support of President Donald Trump just after his inauguration. This left liberals screaming about Nazis from that point forward, leading to accusations that Musk himself has Nazi sympathies because the gesture looked like a “Sieg Heil.”

Rampell referenced some of Musk’s debatable remarks about the influence of Jews in the modern West then said the gesture means he can conclusively be said to be “playing footsie” with the Nazis.

“I just think it’s horrific,” she stated during the conversation. “I don’t understand why this guy keeps getting the benefit of the doubt, whether or not he believes this stuff personally.”

Jennings, who was seen visibly sighing and rolling his eyes during the rant, defended Musk from the spurious accusations.

“We’ve moved on from Trump derangement syndrome to Elon derangement syndrome,” Jennings zinged in his reply to Rampell.

The WaPo journalist tried to interrupt Jennings, but he blocked her attempt saying, “I love this game we play, where you talk for two minutes, I talk for three seconds, and you freak out.”

Burn!

“So, he has a long record of supporting the Jewish people, number one,” he added. “Number two, anybody who is asserting this thing he did on the stage the other day was a Sieg Heil, which I just heard you say, you know, lawyer up maybe, because absolute ridiculous thing to say.”

Rampell lost her ever-loving mind when Jennings made the “lawyer up” comment. We’re talking Chernobyl level meltdown right on the air. Does she now realize how silly she looks when she blows her top like that? It’s embarrassing.

For the next minute, she continued to interrupt Jennings as he tried to finish his argument, even challenging him to make the same gesture Musk made. Unfortunately for Rampell and her fellow leftists, the three or four people who still watch CNN are probably the only ones who may be compelled to buy her argument. The rest of the country has since tuned out the shrill cries of “racist” and “bigot” and “Nazi” that have long stifled the airways.

Leftists only use these terms as a means to smear their opponents because they have no answer for their arguments. President Trump has experienced this kind of attack since the very beginning. And yet, in the last election, he won all seven swing states, the Electoral College, and the popular vote. Speaks volumes about how the American people feel about him, doesn’t it?
