Former NFL player Michael Strahan tried to take on White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and immediately regretted his decision. Strahan asked the 27-year-old Leavitt, the youngest person to occupy the position, about President Donald Trump bringing remote work for federal employees to an end. The brutal exchange took place during Leavitt’s appearance on “Good Morning America.”
During the conversation, according to The Daily Wire, Strahan, a former defensive end, tried to apply pressure on the press secretary about whether or not the new policy would drain the motivation for those who were doing good work while at home and lead to them quitting their jobs altogether. The implication here is that this would have a negative impact on the American people as a whole.
Hilarious moment from @PressSec @KarolineLeavitt’s interview on ABC’s @GMA….

“But is there any concern we risk losing people with years of experience like doctors and — and let’s say scientists?” Strahan asked Leavitt.
“Well, most doctors who work in actual hospitals and medical institutions have to show up to the office,” Leavitt noted. “We know that employees are more productive and more efficient when they are working in an in-office environment and that’s what this administration expects. And I think that’s what American taxpayers expect.”
“Don’t forget it’s the American people funding this government. They deserve people who are actually showing up to work on their behalf,” she finished.
The White House Press Secretary published a statement about the new plan, which also included a buyout proposal for federal workers who are opting not to return to in-office working, which said, “After four years of incompetence and failure, President Donald Trump is committed to making our government efficient and productive again. American taxpayers pay for the salaries of federal government employees and therefore deserve employees working on their behalf who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers.”
“If they don’t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work, and the Trump Administration will provide a very generous payout of eight months,” the statement read.
Media puppets are going to have to get used to playing hardball when they talk with Leavitt. She clearly isn’t going to mess around with propagandists and will pushback on their lies without a second thought. These last four years, the media has had it easy with Biden and Karine Jean-Pierre. Those days are officially over.
