Sunny Hostin, one of the harpies that co-hosts the worst television talk show in the history of broadcasting, “The View,” is getting torched all over the place after she made the claim that January 6th — referring to the riot at the Capitol building in 2021 — earned a place among one of the worst moments of American history. Now, that would have been simply laughed off if she hadn’t followed up by comparing it to “World War II, the Holocaust, and chattel slavery.”

I don’t think we need any further proof that the folks who host this show are brain dead. How else can you explain someone making this statement and not thinking its problematic? Clearly, such a statement is simply not true. After all, six million Jews were murdered by Hitler during the Holocaust and millions of troops from around the world died fighting Nazis.

According to The Daily Wire, Hostin stated during the show that “you don’t move on” from the Capitol building riot that occurred on the infamous date of Jan. 6, 2021.

“You don’t move on because January 6th was an atrocity. It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the worst moments in American history like World War II, things that happened like the Holocaust, chattel slavery,” she said on the air.

Critics called her out for making the comparison, noting that a three-hour riot during which one person was killed was hardly comparable to a global war, slavery, or the systematic slaughter of more than six million Jews.

“Left-wingers are so mentally deranged that they think a three-hour riot where no one was killed except by police is comparable to … the Holocaust. The. Holocaust,” Red State’s Bonchie said in a post.

“The dumbest person on daily TV, Sunny Hostin, compares January 6th, 2021 to the Holocaust, says it was similarly bad,” OutKick founder Clay Travis elegantly stated.

“What an insult to every Jewish person on the planet, past and present. Breathtaking minimizing of one of the worst things to happen in human history. ABC will have to apologize, I bet,” CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings said in his response to the clip.

“… and for that matter, an insult to the memory of every slave who was ever held or veteran who died defeating the forces of tyranny in WW2. Geez. This statement doesn’t get any lower,” Jennings ended his post.

Others commented that the Holocaust was a world event, not strictly a part of American history. Hostin and other liberals aren’t concerned with speaking accurately though, as is evidenced by the many times the co-host has had to issue statements admitting as such on the program.

“I don’t know about you, maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think America did pretty damn good winning World War II,” Ben Domenech responded.

I think it’s about time for Hostin to find a new line of work, don’t you?
