The election results have now been officially certified, meaning that President-elect Donald Trump will be making a return to the White House for another four-year term. And if you listen real close, the sound of millions of liberals crying out in pure agony will great your ears. Ah, the sweet sound of victory. It’s delicious, isn’t it?
Not as delicious as seeing the pain on Vice President Kamala Harris who, as President of the Senate, was forced to certify the results for her opponent in the race she lost. It’s like taking salt and rubbing it deep into a wound. However, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was thrilled to see her suffer. Does that make me bad? A big old meanie? Rude?
Now ask me how much I care?
I don’t.
The moment was as symbolic as it was historic, with Harris presiding over her own electoral defeat. Flanked by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Harris read the results aloud with a stoic demeanor, pausing briefly as she reached Trump’s final tally.
“The votes for President of the United States are as follows: Donald J. Trump of the state of Florida has received 312 votes. Kamala D. Harris of the state of California has received 226 votes,” Harris stated during the certification process, her voice remaining steady, but clearly ringing out with resignation.
“This announcement of the state of the vote by the President of the Senate shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the persons elected President and Vice President of the United States, each for a term beginning on the 20th day of January 2025, and shall be entered together with the list of the votes on the journals of the House and the Senate. Thank you very much,” Harris went on to say in conclusion.
“The procedural formality marked the end of a tumultuous election season and capped off a landslide race that saw Trump defy pollsters, pundits, and doubters to reclaim the presidency. Despite the divisive nature of the campaign, Harris fulfilled her constitutional duty,” the report said. “Trump’s victory, which some are calling the greatest political comeback in modern history, reaffirmed his enduring influence over the Republican Party and his connection with voters across America. With the inauguration set for January 20, 2025, the country braces for the return to his leadership style. As for Kamala Harris, her role in certifying Trump’s win adds an almost poetic layer to the political drama of 2024.”
We will NEVER get tired of winning!
Congratulations to President Trump and Vice President-Elect Vance on the certification of the election!

For those who, unfortunately, were pushed through the public education system over the course of the last 30 years, it’s the duty of an active Vice President is considered to be the President of the Senate, and is to oversee the official counting and certification of Electoral College votes. This duty, which is mandated in the 12th Amendment, has caused more than a few critical and memorable moments in our nation’s history.
“In 1961, Vice President Richard Nixon certified John F. Kennedy’s victory after he had lost the 1960 election. Despite his personal disappointment, Nixon handled the situation professionally and even quelled objections from some members of Congress,” the article stated. “Similarly, in 2001, Vice President Al Gore presided over the certification of George W. Bush’s victory after the highly controversial 2000 election. The Florida recount and subsequent Supreme Court decision had made the election one of the most contentious in U.S. history. Gore, despite the emotional weight of the event, ensured the process moved forward smoothly, even stopping objections from fellow Democrats on the House floor.”
Back in 1861, Vice President John Breckinridge, who ran an unsuccessful presidential campaign the year prior, was forced to certify the election results of his opponent, Abraham Lincoln.
