Democrats in Congress have made it clear through their incessant whining and crying over the last month that they are not at all happy with President Donald Trump trusting SpaceX CEO Elon Musk with so much responsibility, referring to him as an “unelected billionaire.” However, conservative radio host Glenn Beck thinks he’s found the real reason leftists hate Musk so much and it has more to do with themselves than Elon.
During a recent interview with Fox News host Brett Baier, Trump said of Musk, “He’s not gaining anything. In fact, I wonder how he can devote the time to it. He’s so into it. But I told him ‘do that,’ then I’m going to tell him very soon, like maybe in 24 hours, to go check the Department of Education.”
“He’s going to find the same thing. Then I’m going to go to the military. Let’s check the military. We’re going to find billions, hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud and abuse. And you know, the people elected me on that,” he told Baier.
“He’s absolutely right about this,” Glenn stated during his program. “First of all, ‘He’s an unelected bureaucrat.’ Well, almost all bureaucrats are. I don’t know if you follow that, but you know, the treasury secretary is also somebody who wasn’t voted in.”
” Meanwhile, the Democrats are still raging about Elon exposing USAID — which isn’t even an aid program,” BlazeMedia reported.
“We have aid agencies; that’s not one of them. This is soft power, and quite honestly, it has from the beginning been a CIA operation,” Beck continued. “I’m not against aid; I’m against corruption, and I’m also against a lot of this soft power being done that nobody knows about.”
“Why are we just finding out about this stuff, and what are we going to find in the Pentagon?” the conservative pundit asks, adding, “We are going to find really bad stuff in the Pentagon.”
Co-host Pat Gray is in full agreement with Beck, pointing out that the very concept of USAID, a government agency dedicated to helping the less fortunate was crazy to begin with.
“It’s not government agencies that should be doing this; it is individuals who are tasked with charity and helping others. We’re the ones,” Gray explained during the show. “Once you’re forced into it, it’s not charity.”
But the Democrats don’t see it the same way, as some of them, like Rep. Maxine Waters, have begun protesting at places like the Department of Education — and verbally accosting the security personnel.
“It’s quite amazing how these people are so freaked out. They’ve got to cover their tracks. I’m convinced that’s what it is,” Glenn concluded.
Leftists hate Elon Musk and DOGE because Trump is following the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And they simply can’t handle it.
The left has appointed bureaucrats, just as Glenn Beck noted, that were never voted in and have been involved in a whole of corruption. The president is doing the same thing by hiring Musk to root out this corruption. Add that to the spending being slashed and their extra cash sources being cut off, well, you get cranky Democrats.
