Conservative commentator Glenn Beck recently penned a piece that revealed the reason why the rest of the nations around the globe have so much more respect for America with President Donald Trump at the helm.
He kicked things off by discussing how hard the left has attempted to use propaganda to try and convince the citizens of our great nation that this country, under Trump’s leadership was a pariah on the world stage. Liberal media, partnering with activists, want us to believe our allies don’t trust us, that they no longer respect us.
However, according to Beck, that whole narrative was put through a wood chipper last week. Rather than being an island to himself, the president was at the center of world diplomacy, cutting deals and taking the lead when it comes to agenda setting.
The mainstream media, which refuses to get the message they were sent last November, tried to paint a picture of doom and gloom. However, leaders from around the world were lined up to work with him, which proves that this country has reclaimed its place at the top of the pile.
On Wednesday, Trump had a rather long call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During this conversation, Putin agreed it was time to start negotiations concerning Ukraine and the current conflict raging between the two nations.
Later in the day, Trump got on Truth Social and revealed there’s a “good possibility” of ending the war, a conflict that was encouraged to continue during the previous administration due to unchecked spending and no work toward a realistic exit strategy.
“Trump and Putin also discussed the Middle East, energy, and security issues, even agreeing to make diplomatic visits to each other’s countries. So much for the claim that Trump can’t conduct foreign policy,” Beck wrote on Blaze Media.
” We don’t hate our neighbors — we just love our country, and we won’t be intimidated any more,” he added.
“Trump’s head-on leadership doesn’t stop with the war in Ukraine. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called Trump to discuss defense, trade, and critical mineral supply chains — issues essential for countering China’s growing influence,” he continued in the article.
He then pointed out that King Abdullah II of Jordan paid a visit to the White House in order to have a conversation about the situation in Gaza between Hamas terrorists and Israel.
The president also met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi concerning the development of a new military and trade partnership with our country. Just to show how much influence Trump has, Modi said after the meeting, “We’re going to make India great again as well.”
” Trump is reviving global respect toward the U.S. economy through moves like enacting a decisive 25% tariff on foreign steel and aluminum to protect American jobs. Wall Street panicked, but Main Street cheered. While the left cries about ‘trade wars,’ Trump understands that fair trade means fair play. For too long, America has been taken advantage of by globalist elites who profit off our decline — not any more,” Beck continued.
Beck concluded the piece by pointing out that for many years now, the left has been trying to hammer it in our heads that we should be ashamed of the U.S., that our nation’s best days are far behind us now.
In fact, according to these individuals, we should be going on an Obama-like apology tour and saying we’re sorry for being strong, having a rich history, and for being one of the most successful nations in history.
But thanks to Trump, we’re all proud to be Americans again. We can stand tall and proud without feeling ashamed to defend our country and the values we hold dear.
“America is back — and the world knows it,” Beck finished.
