Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is proving more and more each day that President Donald Trump was right to choose him for his post. Recently, Hegseth reversed the name change of a popular military base located in Fayetteville, North Carolina from Fort Liberty to its original name of Fort Bragg.
Back in 2023, former President Joe Biden decided that all the military bases in our country who were named after Confederate leaders should be changed. The move represented a surrender to the Black Lives Matter mob who took to the streets in 2020 to burn and loot whole neighborhoods following the death of George Floyd.
Before the name change, the base was named after Confederate General Braxton Bragg. Hegseth reestablished the old name, however it was in honor of a totally different Bragg.
“The new name pays tribute to Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II hero who earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his exceptional courage during the Battle of the Bulge,” Pentagon press secretary John Ullyot went on to say in a statement.
Hegseth then took to social media platform X where he excitedly declared, “Bragg is back!” after putting his John Hancock down on the directive.

Leftists actually wasted $8 million in taxpayer in money in doing the name change. The only thing liberals excel at is finding ways to flush money down the toilet.
Last year, while campaigning for the White House, President Donald Trump promised Americans he would reverse the ridiculous name change, The Western Journal reported.
“Should we turn the name Fort Liberty, back to Fort Bragg?” Trump went on to ask attendees at a MAGA rally in North Carolina in October 2024. “Right, so here’s what we do: We get elected, I’m doing it,” he vowed.
The whole movement to have things renamed was fueled by the hatred BLM has for America and it’s history and principles. We witnessed them destroying statues left and right and try to erase our past in some lame attempt to pretend like it never happened.
For Columbus Day, leftist rioters vandalized the Abraham Lincoln statue outside the Chicago History Museum. Though Lincoln is regarded as one of the greatest American leaders for his role in leading the Union during the Civil War, leftists now call him a white supremacist.

Now that Trump is back behind the desk in the Oval Office, a huge cultural shift has started, as our society moves back toward the right after a long, long time of left-wing insanity. Perhaps the people of this great nation will take a moment to reflect on the madness that gripped our nation during these years and vow never to allow it to happen again.
