Conservatives all over social media are laying on the praise for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth after he came up with the perfect response for an attack launched by twice failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton by posting a picture on X that’s now been seen over 2 million times.
“Wouldn’t want to hurt Putin’s feelings,” Clinton stated in a post of her own on X over the weekend, sharing a Gizmodo headline that said, “Trump’s Defense Secretary Hegseth Orders Cyber Command to ‘Stand Down’ on All Russia Operations.”
Hegseth, a true man’s man if I ever saw one, replied to the post by sharing a photo of Clinton, grinning ear-to-ear, alongside Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov in March 2009 which featured the two holding a “reset” button. This was supposed to be a symbol pointing toward the resetting of relations between the U.S. and Russia.
“Crooked Hillary just got OWNED,” Department of Defense press secretary Kingsley Wilson stated in his reply to Hegseth’s post.
“Call an ambulance …,” Rasmussen Reports said.
Popular commentator Jack Posobiec simply posted “LOL,” while Greg Price who is part of the Trump White House Rapid Response Team said, “Total Secretary Hegseth W.”
The post was shared, or reposted, over 10,000 times on X alone. It also garnered a whopping 70,000 likes and 3,000 comments. I’d say that makes this bad boy a hit.
“Democrats have been highly critical of the Trump administration in recent days and attacked the president as being aligned with Russia based on the heated Oval Office exchange between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy on Friday,” Fox News reported.
“The Trump administration has maintained that the controversy shows Zelenskyy is not serious about peace talks, and Trump has publicly said the Ukrainian president can return to the White House at a later time to resume negotiations,” the article read.
“We should spend less time worrying about Putin, and more time worrying about migrant rape gangs, drug lords, murderers, and people from mental institutions entering our Country – So that we don’t end up like Europe!” Trump stated in a post on Truth Social over the weekend.
Hillary Clinton is still desperate to remain in the spotlight. Not because she plans to run for office again. I don’t think she will. Nobody wants her to, that’s for. Not even Democrats.
No, she wants to be relevant because it makes her filthy rich. Clinton charges an arm and a leg to attend one of her speaking engagements. In order to draw in the big bucks, she has to keep her name in headlines and make controversial statements, especially on television appearances, to up her value.
Eventually, one hopes, the shine of her star will finally fade into total darkness and we won’t have to be bothered by hearing her screeching any longer.
