Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas just can’t help herself it seems, once again flapping her gums and stepping in a big, steaming pile of controversy. I bet you thought I was going to say something else, didn’t you? Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Crockett who is still trying to get her bearings from a number of recent collisions — proverbially speaking — with the media, made a fool of herself after she accidentally slammed former Vice President Kamala Harris and her colleagues in the “Squad” while trying to deliver a punch to a congressional Republican.
Guess if you’re going to get in the ring and box with the big boys, you better know what you’re doing or else prepare to hit the mat.
The Texas representative made an appearance on the highly popular “The Breakfast Club” morning talk show, which has a large African-American following, where she fired a shot — again proverbially — at Rep. Byron Donalds, a Florida Republican, because he married a white woman.
Wow. This lady is a full-blown racist and she’s not even trying to hide it. Hypocrisy is strong with this one.
“If we continue to put into office skinfolk, who are definitely not our kinfolk, such as Byron Donalds, who are going to continue to say… the fact that you was sitting around talking about life was better under Jim Crow? Like, is this because you don’t understand history?” the Democrat goes on to say in a viral clip making its way all over social media platform X.
“Or literally it’s because you married a white woman, so you think that whitewash you?” she attempts to zing.
Charlamagne tha God then points out that Donalds “couldn’t even be married to a white woman under Jim Crow,” to which Crockett responds, “Correct!”
“It’s a joy to call him out,” she adds. “It’s like they give him his talking points, and he’s like, ‘Yes massa, I got it.’”

“Crockett’s incendiary rhetoric is sure to cause heartburn for Democrats eager to keep the focus on Trump one week after Signalgate. To make matters worse, the Texas congresswoman accidentally criticized Harris, whose husband Doug Emhoff is white, as well as fellow ‘Squad’ members Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Summer Lee (D-PA),” Trending News Politics reported.
“A Crockett critic showed some of the interracial couples above the video of Crockett’s remarks, also including Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and her white husband,” the report continued.
Crockett served as the co-chair of the 2024 Harris-Walz campaign and is currently a member of the Democratic Congressional Progressive Caucus. However, she’s not been making a lot of her leftist colleagues happy by radically transforming into a controversy machine, particularly after referring to her own state’s governor, Greg Abbott, who is in a wheelchair, as “Hot Wheels.”
A day later, Crockett tried to smooth things over with a halfhearted statement, but it lacked an apology. It was simply an explanation of what she says she really meant. I don’t think the comment needs interpretation. Seems pretty clear what it meant.
Earlier in the week, she appeared to assault a conservative journalist after the young man asked whether she condoned the nationwide acts of vandalism against Tesla cars and dealerships. Crockett, first elected in 2022, has also drawn criticism on the right for leaning into the narrative that she did not have a privileged childhood growing up. She is the daughter of a wealthy Texas pastor and contractor, and a video of her speaking without an ebonics accent has surfaced following her newfound fame.
