There’s a running gag by those critical of the Biden-Harris administration that former Vice President Kamala Harris is a real life version of the main character from the comedy show “Veep,” which featured a vice president and her staff joking about being “high-functioning alcoholics” who were in charge of running the entire free world.
Current Vice President JD Vance says that this might be one of those occasions where life imitates art. Vance was asked how he approaches his job differently than Harris did while she was in office, chuckling about the premise.
“Well, I don’t have four shots of Vodka before every meeting,” he said during a conversation with podcast host Vince Coglianese.
“That’s one way I think Kamala really tried to bring herself into the role,” he wisecracked.
Trending Politics News then said, “Going on, the Republican explained that he’ll probably never be able to match Harris’s penchant for ‘word salads’ when explaining ‘fancy things’ like artificial intelligence.”
“I think I would need the help of a lot of alcohol to answer a question the way Kamala Harris answered questions,” he continued.
Indeed, some of Harris’s behavior at official events was out of character, and jokes about her possible use of substances to get through the day were a running undercurrent within conservative circles. During a campaign stop at the South Carolina NAACP’s annual King Day at the Dome, Harris laughingly reminded the audience of how “old” they all are. Her loopy grin and gesticulating handwaving were just a little too much for the internet.
“I see our college students up there,” Harris said as she cackled, throwing up a raise-the-roof gesture toward the audience. That move was so cringe I almost threw something up, but it wasn’t a pleasant gesture.
“Let me just tell you, I love Gen Z. I don’t know, you know, some people… I love Gen Z,” she rambled on as someone yelled back, “We love you!”
As of now, it’s being rumored that Harris is considering a second jaunt for the White House in 2028. One of the key considerations in the matter concerns her husband, Doug Emhoff, who is an alcoholic.
A few of Harris’ closest allies have said that Emhoff is nothing but “dead weight,” now that she no longer serves in office. Others blamed the man for her loss last November.
“During the final weeks of the campaign, friends of a woman allegedly abused by Emhoff came forward to tell a shocking story about him physically beating her after a party in Las Vegas. The Harris campaign denied the allegations and claimed the women were fabricating the story,” the report said in conclusion.
