The United States military loaded up a group of 17 alleged members of the super violent Tren de Aragua gang and shipped them back to El Salvador on a one-way trip from Guantanamo Bay on Sunday evening, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
And this is what it looks likes when you have a commander-in-chief who loves his country and the people in it. President Donald Trump has been putting the needs of the American people first and foremost, especially our safety and national security. Allow this to be Exhibit A.
Rubio released a stated on social media platform X where he revealed the alleged gang members included a number of rapists and cold-blooded murderers. Just the kind of folk liberals want freely walking the streets of your neighborhood.
“In order to keep the American people safe, @POTUS designated the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as Foreign Terrorist Organizations,” Rubio explained in the post. “These criminals will no longer terrorize our communities and citizens.”
“Those transferred to El Salvador included Keivis Jesus Arrecheder Vasquez, a Venezuelan national and an alleged leader of Tren de Aragua, senior White House officials told Fox News. He has two criminal charges pending related to the intent to sell drugs,” Fox News reported.
Officials then stated that six other alleged members of this horrific group of miscreants were also given the boot back to El Salvador. All of those who were shipped out of Gitmo were either citizens belonging to El Salvador or Venezuela, with some of them having charges pending, while the others have already been convicted of crimes.
These removals were done via Title 8, not the Alien Enemies Act, and all the individuals had deportation orders or final orders of removal, according to the senior White House officials, meaning the Trump administration did not violate a federal judge’s order halting the deportations. U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg extended a restraining order on Friday against the use of the Alien Enemies Act, a 1798 wartime immigration law, by the Trump administration to deport violent gang members with alleged ties to gangs.
Trump has since slammed Boasberg, accusing him and other “radical left judges” of hampering his ability to serve as president. The Trump administration has deported hundreds of alleged criminal illegal aliens to El Salvador, where they are being held in the country’s notorious Terrorism Confinement Center.
Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, took a tour of the infamous prison just a week ago, meeting with the current president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, who started the prison in 2023 to aid in his mission to obliterate powerful street gangs ravaging his city.
Bukele also put out a statement on X stating the 17 people transferred back to his country are “confirmed murderers and high-profile offenders, including six child rapists.”
In a recent comment given to Fox News by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the Trump administration is fully planning to continue to go after illegal migrant criminals who came across the border during former President Joe Biden’s horrific four years in office.
“Every day, America becomes safer, thanks to the leadership of President Trump,” Leavitt told the news outlet. “If you’re an illegal terrorist or criminal – the Trump administration is coming for you.”
