Infamous Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett recently sat down for an interview with MSNBC. During the strange segment of the program, she broke down in tears after getting a shovel full of praise from host Katie Phang for *checks notes* “defending democracy” and a few other “accomplishments.”
Crockett has become a celebrity due to her consistent displays of classlessness and her utter nonsense concerning President Donald Trump and figures in his administration. The Texas Democrat has made appearing on the “Katie Phang Show” a regular thing.
In the most recent interview, Crockett went on to say that the president was a “bigger criminal” than Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a suspected member of the sick and twisted MS-13 gang from south of the border. Abrego Garcia was deported back to El Salvador on March 15.
“An immigration judge previously found that Abrego Garcia was a member of the ultra-violent MS-13 street gang, which is deeply involved in drug dealing, human trafficking, murder, and a host of additional crimes in both the U.S. and El Salvador. The Trump Administration has also released documents confirming that Abrego Garcia has ties with senior members of an MS-13 set in Maryland,” Trending Politics News reported.
Despite all of that, Crockett still attempted to make the case that Trump’s criminal conviction, which was secured by the ever-corrupt Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, is far worse criminal conduct than the psychopaths who make up MS-13.
“As far as I’m concerned, he’s a lot less criminal than the person is in the White House,” Crockett babbled. “The last time I checked, he didn’t have any criminal convictions. I don’t think he has any outstanding cases, versus the guy that still had cases pending when he was sworn in on January 20 and also has 34 felony convictions.”
The Texas congresswoman then added, “So listen, I don’t want to hear anything from the Republican Party about how they try to keep us safe when their fearless leader is the biggest criminal thus far that we have seen.”
This screed left Phang with a blown fuse in her brain, having, apparently, never heard something so passionate, so brilliant, so wonderfully articulated, she played a clip from Crockett’s first appearance on the program and then laid the butt kissing on thick.
“This is the second to the last episode of the show. Congresswoman, I wanted to thank you for always getting up and early and delivering it. But I also want to say thank you for your continuing support for democracy. It’s definitely something that you have made your brand and it’s the integrity that you’re bringing,” Phang went on to say. “And I’m grateful for you always. We’ll miss you.”
It was at this point that Crockett, having her ego stroked in just the right direction, burst into tears, going on to tell Phang she’s “not going anywhere.”
“Thank you for being here and getting us started today. I always appreciate you,” Phang quickly signed off, as Crockett was left a crying mess and unable to speak.
MSNBC announced that the “Katie Phang Show” would be cancelled later this month as part of wider network re-structuring. The show, which started in 2022, was cancelled alongside Joy Reid’s long-running “The Reid Out” program earlier this year.
The shakeup comes about three months after Comcast announced that it will be merging a number of cable assets, including news assets like MSNBC and CNBC, into a separate publicly traded company. The new company will include the USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and the Golf Channel. Comcast will retain a number of NBCUniversal assets, including the Peacock streaming service, the NBC broadcast network, NBC News and the Bravo cable channel.
“The transaction will be structured as a tax-free spin to existing shareholders,” Comcast President Mike Cavanagh revealed in an internal memo. “While we don’t have a precise timetable for completing the transition, we are estimating that it will take approximately a year.”
