Fiery White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tore The Atlantic a new one on Wednesday during a briefing where she revealed the truth about the recent deportation of a deplorable, disgusting MS-13 gang member. Oh, important detail to remember here. President Donald Trump labeled MS-13 a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
According to the initial report, an official within the administration admitted to sending a man in Maryland who had protected status to a terrorist detention center in El Salvador and lacks the authority to bring him back. What the story didn’t mention was his affiliation with MS-13 and the crimes he’d previously been convicted of, meaning the guy should have never been allowed to come here in the first place.
“The administration’s attorneys acknowledged in a court filing on Monday that it sent Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador by mistake, which was first reported by The Atlantic. However, the administration also claimed that U.S. courts lack jurisdiction to order his return from the prison where he is behind bars,” Fox News reported.
“Abrego Garcia was removed from Maryland when the administration sent three planeloads of Salvadoran and Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador’s “Terrorism Confinement Center” on March 15 for alleged gang affiliations,” it continued.
Leavitt went on to reveal that the government was in possession of credible evidence that he was involved in human trafficking, also adding that those who are part of Foreign Terrorist Organizations no longer have legal protections in the United States.

Vice President JD Vance weighed in on the situation in a post on X in response to a question about the error from Jon Favreau, the host of “Pod Save America,” going on to say, “It’s gross to get fired up about gang members getting deported while ignoring citizens they victimize.”
While responding to Favreau, who served as an aide to former President Barack Obama, Vance said “you apparently didn’t read he was a convicted MS-13 gang member with no legal right to be here” – referencing the court filing.
“My further comment is that it’s gross to get fired up about gang members getting deported while ignoring citizens they victimize,” the vice president went on to add.
Court documentation reveals that Abrego Garcia first arrived in the U.S. back in 2011 when he was 16 after escaping from gang threats in El Salvador. Fast forward eight years and a judge grants him a form of protected status known as “withholding of removal” after information was discovered that he would end up being a target of Salvadorian gangs if he were to be deported back home.
Regardless, this is a dangerous dude who was selling people into sex slavery. I don’t think there should be an ounce of sympathy for the man. He’s getting exactly what he deserves and then some.
