The plot continues to thicken in a case involving a Wisconsin judge who was recently indicted for helping to shield an illegal immigrant federal agents who were looking to take him into custody and deport him. On Thursday, new footage of the incident was released to the public.
It’s stirring up quite a commotion as you might imagine. None of it good for the radical left and their activist judges who are attempting to undermine President Donald Trump and his authority.
Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan was slapped in cuffs and taken into custody, charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly hiding Eduardo Flores-Ruiz. Flores-Ruiz entered our country illegally and has been implicated in a violent assault stemming from an arrest after a pre-trial detention hearing.
Dugan, who has been sitting on the Milwaukee County bench for almost 10 years, could end up spending a maximum of 10 years in prison if she is convicted on both counts brought against her in the indictment. Heavy price to pay for pushing the leftist agenda.
“Newly released footage of the incident shows the judge, dressed in her black robes, speaking to federal agents who were attending a pre-trial detention hearing in order to take Flores-Ruiz into custody,” Trending Politics News said.
“The April 18 footage, which was released by Milwaukee County through an open records request, shows agents walking down a hallway after being directed through a door by Judge Dugan. This, according to federal prosecutors, indicates that Dugan was attempting to distract the agents as they were attempting to make the arrest,” the report continued.
Footage also shows Flores-Ruiz, along with his lawyer, leaving the courtroom through a restricted exit that is usually only used by members of the jury, after ICE agents left the building. One agent can be seen following after Flores-Ruiz after he made his way into an elevator and then left the building later in the video.
The suspect then fled on foot for about a block before he was caught by ICE agents.
The following week, Judge Dugan was arrested and indicted. Her legal team filed a motion to have the case tossed on the basis of judicial immunity for official acts. Basically, she’s trying to use the same card the president used during the lawfare used against him prior to his election victory in 2024.
Judge Dugan pleaded not guilty to the charges against her on May 15. She’s set to appear in a federal court on July 9 for a pretrial hearing. Her trial by jury is scheduled for July 21.
“Flores-Ruiz remains in federal custody on immigration charges while his domestic violence case processes through the Milwaukee County Court. He is currently facing additional federal charges after illegally entering the country following his initial deportation in 2013, prosecutors allege,” the article concluded.
