Minnesota Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a member of the infamous “Squad” is catching a whole lot of heat for the “dark woke” message she’s been preaching to her haters as critics got online and pushed her to drop the obscenities the old fashioned way by washing her mouth out with soap.
As much as that seems like a fantastic — and hilarious — idea, it wouldn’t do much good. The filth isn’t coming from Omar’s mouth, but her heart. It’s stained with evil. There’s only one cure for that: Christ. No amount of washing outside the tomb will change the fact that there’s a rotting, smelly set of bones on the inside.
The disciplinary advice coming from Republicans comes after Omar wove a tapestry of obscenity aimed at a conservative reporter who dared to ask her about Democrats’ recent trips to El Salvador.
Here’s more on this from Trending Politics News:
Video of the Minnesota Democrat strolling through Washington, D.C. on Thursday ignited an uproar after she broke with the usual decorum of silent treatment and told a reporter with the Daily Caller to “f*** off” for asking whether more of her far-left colleagues plan to visit “Maryland man” Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador’s supermax prison.
Asked once more whether she meant what she said, Omar repeated her hateful words before an aide jumped in to block the camera. Omar, writing on X and quoting the video shared by Libs of TikTok, she wrote, “I said what I said. You and all your miserable trolls can f*ck off.”
That didn’t sit well with other users who took a shot at the lawmaker over allegations she married her brother to help him obtain student loans.
A user on X gave Omar a verbal haymaker with a massive zinger, saying, “Wow. You kiss your brother with that mouth?” For those in the know, this is a dig at the Minnesota congresswoman over marrying her brother to help him migrate to the United States.
Other folks on the social media platform took a moment to reflect on the state of Congress today, saying that Omar’s conduct is just a symptom of a far worse disease.
“Ilhan Omar’s meltdown isn’t just unprofessional it’s a clear sign of how far standards have fallen in Congress,” another wrote.
Chaya Raichik, a conservative influencer known as Libs of TikTok, tossed out a zinger, saying, “You committed fraud. The hammer of Justice is coming. Tick Tock.”
The shameful saga is just the latest in a string of self-owning errors by Omar, an immigrant who earned her citizenship in 2000 and won a seat in Congress in 2018. She rose from relative obscurity to the front page of news outlets everywhere after establishing the informal “Squad” of minority Democratic lawmakers most frequently associated with far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Omar, however, has had the greatest ability to draw negative headlines for her antics. Earlier this year, a member of Minnesota’s Somali community came forward, confirming that Omar asked a priest outside of the community’s Muslim network to help her marry her biological brother so that he would qualify for student loans and stay in the U.S.
The Minnesota Democrat has not commented directly on the allegations, which have been bubbling and boiling since she launched her first campaign. However, she has continued to say criticisms against her have no legitimacy because they are race-based attacks. In other words, she’s a perpetual victim, thus, any attempt at accountability is invalid because she’s not white.
In March, she appeared to shove a young Fox News reporter after he asked why she and other Democrats refused to applaud President Donald Trump’s promise to keep biological men out of women’s sports. And just a month earlier, she drew heat for referring to Americans as “stupid” for electing Trump. The New York Post reported in January that the FBI has launched an investigation into Omar’s marriage to her brother, with a “trove of documents” reportedly being handed over to agents.
Texas Republican Rep. Brandon Gill has been passing around a petition calling for Omar to be deported, saying, “America would be a better place if Ilhan Omar were deported back to Somalia.”
