People have a lot of strong opinions about Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, but everyone should agree that when it’s time to throw down, she hits hard. This is a lesson controversial Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar just discovered after she decided to take a metaphorical swing at Greene after she announced in a post on X that she was in full support of Derek Chauvin being pardoned and released from prison.
Chauvin is the police officer found guilty of the killing of Minnesota resident George Floyd, a black man, which led to nationwide looting and rioting during the summer of 2020.

Omar responded to the post by saying, “Absolutely vile. Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd in a modern day lynching— it was chilling and intentional. Also hate to break it to you, Marjorie, but regardless of any potential pardon, Chauvin will remain in jail for his state conviction. He will forever be a convicted murderer in the eyes of the law and the world.”

And the undisputed champ of verbally beating down radical leftists fired back with a 1-2 combo that sent Omar to the mat.

Having sex with and marrying your brother!!!” the Georgia Republican said. Anyone in the reading audience have some aloe? That’s a sick burn.

This is far from the first time these two have scrapped. Earlier this year, Greene slapped Omar with a censure resolution for some extremely troubling comments she made about Somalia. In another spicy post on X, Greene said that Omar’s remarks, which ere made during a speech to Somali-Americans — in Somalian — amounted to a total betrayal of her oath of office.
Conservatives have been warning the American people for years about the dangers Omar’s radical, extreme worldview and sympathies toward foreign interests pose to our country and its allies. Whether it’s her minimizing of the horrific 9/11 terrorist attacks by saying, “some people did something,” to her often-repeated anti-Israel remarks, many in Congress see her as a consistent voice of both division and anti-American sentiment.
And yet, Omar remains in office. That is rather perplexing. Someone who is consistently in violation of their oath of office should be impeached and removed. Especially when the rhetoric they spew poses a national security risk and directly flies in the face of American interests.
