The Republican Party has failed in its mission to purge from its ranks the traitorous Judas-types among its ranks, as was put on full display when members of the House GOP were unable to push through a massive package of tax breaks and spending cuts through the Budget Committee due to a handful of so-called conservatives locked arms with Democrats to vote against it.
Unbelievable. How can these folks vote against helping the American people after the 2024 election when voters made it abundantly clear they were sick and tired of Democratic Party policies? Every single Republican who voted against the measure needs to be primaried and booted out of office.
Major hard-right lawmakers in Congress want to see more spending cuts made to Medicaid and the Biden-era green energy tax breaks, along with a series of other changes, before they will give the bill their support. These same individuals claim that the tax cuts will add on to the nation’s $36 trillion debt.
The failed vote, 16-21, stalls, for now, House Speaker Mike Johnson’s push to have the package approved next week. But the holdout lawmakers vowed to stay all weekend to negotiate changes as the president is returning to Washington,” the Boston Globe reported.
In case you’re wondering who voted with the Democrats, it was GOP Reps. Chip Roy, Ralph Norman, Josh Brecheen, and Andrew Clyde. If you’re MAGA and this p***** you off, you have every right to be angry.
These individuals are supposed to be working with the president, not against him. We have control of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the White House. President Trump’s agenda benefits this country. Why are they opposed to measures that will provide economic relief for their fellow citizens? Further cuts to entitlement programs, if necessary, can be made later down the road.
At this point, we’re self-sabotaging to such a degree that Democrats can sit back and laugh at us imploding, blowing this amazing opportunity we have to restore our nation to greatness. It’s embarrassing and shameful. No way these congressmen should be allowed to call themselves conservatives.

Tallying a whopping 1,116 pages, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, named with a nod to Trump, is teetering at a critical moment. Conservatives are holding out for steeper cuts to Medicaid and other programs to help offset the costs of the tax breaks. But at the same time, lawmakers from high-tax states including New York are demanding a deeper tax deduction, known as SALT, for their constituents.
What a sad state of affairs.
