On Tuesday, President Donald Trump demonstrated once again he has a backbone of steel, calling Iran’s supreme leader to offer him an “unconditional surrender” as the nation of Israel continues to obliterate its military. As you can probably already imagine, the offer was refused, a decision the Ayatollah may come to regret.
President Trump took to Truth Social where he urged Ali Khamenei to accept the offer before he yanks it off the negotiation table. One thing about our leader, he certainly isn’t intimidated by anyone on the geopolitical stage. And that’s what you need in someone heading up the most powerful country on earth.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump said in the post.
Here’s more from Trending Politics News:
The post comes shortly after Israel announced its initial strikes had killed the top official in Iran’s military and crippled its fleet of fighter jets meant to deter Israeli pilots from Iranian airspace. Video from the dramatic operation shows buildings being obliterated, including the headquarters for the state-run news station, while airing a live broadcast.
“But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump then added later in the post.
Earlier posts by the president refuted a suggestion by French President Emmanuel Macron that he left the G7 summit early to seek a ceasefire in the growing outbreak of violence.
“I’m not looking at a ceasefire. We’re looking at better than a ceasefire,” he said to the media before leaving Canada, the AP said.
When President Trump was asked if he wants to see a “real end” to the conflict, he responded by saying that would require Iran “giving up entirely.”
“I’m not too much in the mood to negotiate,” he admitted.
Thousands of individuals who call the capital city of Iran, Tehran, home, have fled from the area amid bombing that is now in its fifth day. Observers from the United Nations reported that the bombardment from Israel has successfully damaged underground sections of Iran’s nuclear development facility.
This marks the first time that attacks have managed to reach these locations.
“The violence has killed at least 224 people in Iran as well as at least a dozen in Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended his decision to launch a preemptive strike, arguing that the cleric government would never have maintained the terms of any peace agreement and that Iran’s scientists were on the verge of creating a nuclear weapon,” the article said.
Unfortunately, Americans within the MAGA movement have started to splinter over the possibility of the United States being pulled into yet another war in the Middle East. Popular pundits within the movement, Mark Levin and Tucker Carlson, represent the two sides now at war with each other.
And there’s no doubt such an outcome is making the radical left giddy.
