On Tuesday, President Donald Trump let it be known that he’s not taking any prisoners after the bombshell report released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard last week. The report alleges that evidence exists that officials within the Obama administration used intelligence to cook up the Russia collusion narrative in 2016.
In light of the report, Gabbard has submitted criminal referrals to the Justice Department for those who engaged in the manipulation of information in the collusion hoax and the investigation that followed. The officials included in the report are being accused of participating in a “treasonous conspiracy” against our president after he was elected to his first term.
During a meeting with Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in the Oval Office, Trump was asked who he thought should be the target of a DOJ investigation. He immediately said Obama.
“Based on what I read, and I read pretty much what you read, it would be President Obama. He started it,” Trump went on to say to the media. “And [then-vice president Joe] Biden was there with him and [former FBI director James] Comey was there and [former DNI director James] Clapper, the whole group was there. [Former CIA director John] Brennan. They were all there in a room, right here, this was the room.”
The president also said, “If you look at those papers, they have him stone-cold and it was President Obama. It wasn’t lots of people all over the place, it was them, too. But the leader of the gang was President Obama, Barack Hussein Obama, have you heard of him?”
“He’s guilty, it’s not a question,” President Trump added. “This was treason, this was every word you can think of.”
Trump revealed that Gabbard spoke with him and said there are thousands more documents yet to be released that were on their way. He then called Obama the “ringleader” of the hoax against him.

Several other names were included in the memo released last Friday, including Clapper, Brennan, and Comey. All of this new information comes after the president claimed for years that the Russia collusion investigation in 2016 was all a hoax. In March 2025, Trump signed a memo ordering the declassification and release of “all files related to Crossfire Hurricane,” the official name for the investigation into so-called Russian interference.
When asked a question related to Ghislaine Maxwell, pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend, he steered the conversation back to the topic at hand.
“The witch hunt that you should be talking about if they caught President Obama absolutely cold, Tulsi Gabbard. What they did to this country in 2016, starting in 2016 but going up all the way, going up to 2020 and the election, they tried to rig the election, and they got caught, and there should be very severe consequences for that,” Trump replied.
The president then reminded folks that he “caught” Hillary Clinton in the act, but allowed her to walk away from the matter because she is the wife of a former president. However, there’s no mercy this time around.
“It’s time to go after people. Obama’s been caught directly,” he said. “What they did in 2016 and in 2020 is very criminal, it’s criminal at the highest level so that’s really the things you should be talking about.”
