Joy Reid, former host for MSNBC, recently made completely ludicrous statement that proves she is indeed a racist. During an interview with “The Left Hook” podcast, hosted by Wajahat Ali, Reid said that white folk can’t “originally invent anything more than they were able to invent good music.”
And before all the liberal do-do birds who gobbled up every word their professors told them without discernment during college say, “you can only be racist if you have power” that’s stupid and untrue. Racism is an attitude of the heart. It’s a harboring of ill will toward someone based on the arbitrary standard of skin color. That means some white people can and are racist. It also means some black people can and are racist against whites.
On the list goes.
So yes, Reid does indeed qualify as a racist with this statement. Accept the truth and expand your mind.
In the interview, Reid told Ali, “They can’t fix the history. They did. Their ancestors made this country into a slave, a slave hell, but they can clean it up now, because they got the Smithsonian, they can get rid of all the slavery stuff.”
Last time I checked, it was black people and liberal whites who wanted to tear down statues of things having to do with our nation’s history because seeing a statue of a Confederate soldier got them up in their feelings.

“They got Prager U, they can lie about the history to the children. They can’t originally invent anything more than they ever were able to invent good music. We black folk gave y’all country music, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, rock and roll. They couldn’t even invent that. But they have to call a white man the king because they couldn’t make rock and roll. So they have to stamp the king on a man whose main song was stolen from an overweight black woman,” Reid ranted.
You know, one has to wonder if it was this kind of nonsense that ultimately caused her viewing audience on MSNBC to dwindle and eventually led to her being given the boot? Reid was ultimately replaced by host Eugene Daniels who served previously as a White House correspondent for Politico.

Since leaving MSNBC, Reid has been working independently and has appeared to be more unfiltered in her commentary after leaving the network, per Forbes. She has also launched her own YouTube channel, called “The Joy Reid Show,” where she comments on the news and shares her opinion. Since leaving the network, Reid has said that Alligator Alcatraz is a “concentration camp” for “brown people,” and has compared the rights of LGBTQ in the US to the rights they would get in Iran.
“LGBTQ people can’t even serve in the military under [Trump],” Reid said in a CNN panel in July while talking about the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. When a conservative commentator replied, “We’re not killing them,” Reid went on to say, “They‘re allowed to live, but they‘re not allowed to serve in the United States military. They‘re being persecuted. They can‘t have their stories told in school. The United States is not exactly a beacon of rights for gay people.”
One person responded to the story on X, saying, “She still around? Still race baiting as she circles the drain of irrelevance. She’s learned nothing.”
Ouch. Time to bust out the burn cream after that one.
Another wrote, “Ma’am please go touch grass and let the common sense folk take care of the country. Take your delusions to the basement.”
Will Joy Reid ever get the hint? Probably not.
