One of President Donald Trump’s worst enemies, New York Attorney General Letitia James, is quickly discovering that in this life, you reap what you sow. James is currently facing some very significant issues in her attempt to get reelected in 2026, which is highly unusual due to the state’s heavy blue slant.
But, as the legendary Bob Dylan once said, “the times, they are a’ changin.'”
New York is beginning to flip red, a fact we all discovered during the 2024 election as Trump received more votes than was expected in NYC, Brooklyn, and even Queens. And, to further solidify the shift, Long Island is now under GOP control.
James is the Democrat who attempted to slap President Trump with a whopping $450 million fine/penalty for allegedly falsifying the valuation of his assets. Proving that God has a sense of humor, she is now the subject of an investigation for the same exact crime.

Getting back to the original story, the Democrats are losing their voter registration advantage, which leaves the party in an uncomfortable situation. Making the situation even worse, James won her 2022 election by a scant 54.6% compared to a much higher total in 2018. According to a recent article, a Siena College survey revealed a 40–33 favorable-unfavorable split, with a positive score only among Democrats and residents of New York City. At the same time, all other demographics view her unfavorably.
Further harming her chances to remain in office, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is an enemy of James, is pondering a run for Mayor of NYC. If he were to win, Cuomo could deny her the critical 65% of the city’s vote needed for statewide Democratic victories.
Explaining James unprecedented attack on Donald Trump, Miller concluded, “Depriving him of his rights, engaging in a conspiracy to obstruct our election and to overthrow our democratic processes and procedures. She is guilty of multiple significant serial criminal violations.”
Attempting to deflect criticism, James whined, “Let me just say to all New Yorkers and to all Americans, the allegations are baseless. The allegations are nothing more than a revenge tour. And as you mentioned, my office was successful in securing a $454 million judgment against Donald Trump and others for exaggerating the value of his assets.”
The whining wasn’t done there.
“Our government is in chaos and in disarray, Medicaid, Social Security, CFPB, and the list goes on and on and on and as you know, as you mentioned, each and every day, my office is leading the fight against these executive orders which have no legal import at all, have no legal significance, and we are standing up for the rights and privileges of New Yorkers and Americans,” she added.
Bottom line, New Yorkers deserve far, far better than Letitia James.
