The richest man in the world has just called out Joe Biden. CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, took to Twitter after Biden shared a video on Twitter that claims GM and Ford’s Electric Vehicles are the future. Musk was truly upset that Biden would mention both Ford and GM as the leaders in electric vehicles when Tesla outproduces and outsells both of them combined.
Musk had enough of Biden’s anti-Tesla tweets and called Biden a “damp sock puppet“. Musk didn’t stop there though he went on to reply to Biden and tweeted “Starts with a T Ends with an A ESL in the middle”. His tweet was in reference to Tesla being the future of electric vehicles.
Musk wasn’t finished calling out Biden and continued to slam Biden for his complete ignorance of the electric vehicle industry. He would go on to tweet “Biden is treating the American public as fools“.

According to the Daily Mail, Biden snubbed Musk at the White House electric vehicle summit last year:
The focus on electric vehicles is a part of Biden’s Build Back Better plan, which is currently stalled in the Senate due to opposition from one of Biden’s biggest opponents, Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin. As part of the plan, the president supported an extended federal tax credit for EVs.
Musk was also snubbed in August when he was omitted as an attendee to the electric vehicle summit. At that summit, Biden stood by the CEOs of Ford, GM and Stellantis when he announced his executive order that half the US cars sales will be zero emissions by 2030.
It appears Biden is being influenced by lobbyists and unions because GM and Ford are not even in the same ballpark when it comes to Tesla. In the 4th quarter of 2021, Tesla sold over 300,000 electric vehicles whereas GM only sold 26. Yes, GM only sold 26 electric vehicles in the 4th quarter but they’re supposedly the future of EVs in the United States.

In 2021 as a whole, Tesla sold 936,172 electric vehicles. In contrast, GM sold 24,828 and Ford sold 27,140. So, it’s very clear Biden doesn’t want Tesla to have a seat at the table in electric vehicle summits because his politics don’t align with Biden’s agenda.
Musk triggered the far left even more when he tweeted out support for the freedom convoy in Canada. The Freedom Convoy is a group of truckers forming a convoy with over 50,000 drivers to protest Canada’s vaccine mandates for truckers. Truckers are furious that they now must be vaccinated in order to be let back into their country if they enter the US border. For some truckers, they have daily loads that cross the Canadian border and in order for them to keep their jobs then they must be vaccinated.
It’s great to see Musk supporting these truckers because other big figures in society are calling the truckers fascists that are from the same cloth as the January 6th protestors which is far from the truth. All these truckers are doing are standing up for their freedoms and unlike other billionaires, Musk is still in touch with the common man and is able to see that.
