In another open display of disdain for traditional America, and in line with the objectives set for in The Great Reset, a group affiliated with the government is openly promoting Democratic Socialism while disparaging American Capitalism, is hosting a public conference with a radical, anti-America French economist.
The Department of Defense’s National Defense University (NDU), the premier educational institution for military and defense civilian leaders, is hosting a lecture on how Western countries should adopt socialism in response to the challenge from China.
The lecture, which is scheduled to take place online, on February 16, and is titled, “Responding to China: The Case For Global Justice and Democratic Socialism,” will be given by Thomas Piketty, who is the author of a 2021 book titled Time for Socialism.
Piketty’s narcissism can be construed in the following summary of the upcoming event, posted on the university’s website, it reads:
Western countries are still struggling to define their attitude towards the Beijing regime. In this talk on February 22, 2022, Thomas Piketty will argue that the right answer lies in ending Western arrogance and promoting a new emancipatory and egalitarian horizon on a global scale, a new form of democratic and participatory, ecological and post-colonial socialism. If they stick to their usual lecturing posture and a dated hyper-capitalist model, Western countries may find it extremely difficult to meet the Chinese challenge.
The notice for the event includes a bio for Piketty that lists two of his books, Capital in the 21st Century (2013) and Capital and Ideology (2020).
In his most recent book, Time for Socialism, the far left NY Times give high praise for the author’s staunch rejection of Capitalism and his push for Democratic Socialism.
They summarize Piketty’s views as follows:
Looking at the limits of taxing and spending, Piketty concludes that “educational equality and the welfare state are not enough” and that power relationships need to be transformed, beginning with greater worker representation in the governance and wealth sharing of corporations. Recognizing that globalization has been an instrument for the resurgence of laissez-faire and the extremes of inequality that result, Piketty proposes a very different globalization. “We need to turn our backs on the ideology of absolute free trade,” he writes, in favor of “a model of development based on explicit and verifiable principles of economic, fiscal and environmental justice.”
The lecture is part of the university’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) Speaker Series, which has hosted lectures focused on China over the past year.
Sebastian Gorka, who served as an associate dean at the NDU for five years, highlighted the lecture on his show “AMERICA First with Sebastian Gorka” on Friday. “NDU is where colonels go to become generals,” Gorka said.
“This event is presented by the Pentagon’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment program in collaboration with National Defense University’s Eisenhower School of National Security. Eisenhower’s name. His institution is being used to host an event promoting socialism in America,” Gorka said, adding that American taxpayers are paying for the event. “I’m not even disgusted — that’s not even a strong enough word. I’m horrified.”
It is not the first time the military has come under fire for allowing socialism and socialism-based critical race theory to be taught at military institutions.
During a hearing last summer, the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Mark Milley defended the teaching of critical race theory at West Point, arguing that he believed it is important for those in the military to be “open-minded” and “widely read.”
Milley also seemed to defend critical race theory itself, infamously saying, “I want to understand white rage and I’m white,”.
In 2018, a “closet” Communist and West Point cadet, Spensor Rapone, posted photos of himself at his graduation with a “Communism will win” sign inside his cap and a Che Guevara T-shirt underneath his uniform. He resigned from the military but was hired last year by the University of Texas in Austin.
In the midst of this radical movement from the very top, some in the lower ranks are speaking out.
Air Force Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier spoke out about critical race theory and Marxism spreading throughout the military. Lohmeier warned, “The trainings we’re receiving in the military are rooted in critical race theory.”
With his rejection of Milley’s social justice indoctrination, was fired from his command after he gave a series of interviews on podcasts.
If the GOP takes back control of the U.S. Congress and former President Donald J. Trump wins a second term in the Oval Office, the entire top military branch must be replaced with patriotic leadership.
