Not only is Chuck Schumer a vicious leftist that wants to implement all manner of tyrannical laws, particularly gun control laws that restrain your sacred right to keep and bear arms, but he’s also openly contemptuous of those that pray for the recently departed victims of violent crime.
Oh yes, the media doesn’t report on that, but back in March of 2021, almost a year ago now, Schumer went ahead and did both in one statement, calling for tyranny while also mocking those that pray for the victims of violent crime.
Watch Schumer’s horrific remarks below:

As you can hear in the video, Schumer says, with pride no less, “No more hopes and prayers, thoughts and prayers — a vote is what we need. NOT thoughts and prayers.”
And boy were Democrats quick to answer Crocodile Tears Chuck Schumer’s call to replace faith, prayers, rights, and religion with government mandates and tyrannical laws. As Patriot Fetch reported at the time:
After Schumer made these remarks, Democrats passed a House bill that made it harder for law-abiding citizens to defend their family with firearms. Soon after, Dianne Feinstein announced a new push that entails sweeping gun grabs.
Feinstein and her left-wing colleagues somehow believe they’ll be able to stop gun violence if they punish those who actually follow the law. This is akin to banning cars from only good drivers. Makes zero sense.
Then there’s the statement that Dianne Feinstein released, one that called for tyranny of the sort envisioned by Schumer and spread blatant lies about assault rifles. In it she first said:
“It’s been 17 years since the original Assault Weapons Ban expired, and the plague of gun violence continues to grow in this country. To be clear, this bill saves lives. When it was in place from 1994-2004, gun massacres declined by 37 percent compared with the decade before. After the ban expired, the number of massacres rose by 183 percent.
We’re now seeing a rise in domestic terrorism, and military-style assault weapons are increasingly becoming the guns of choice for these dangerous groups. I’m hopeful that with the new administration and Democratic control of the Senate, we can finally pass commonsense gun reforms to remove these deadly weapons from our communities.”
Then, later, her colleague, Rep. Cicilline, lied about so-called “assault rifles,” saying:
“Assault weapons are designed for a single purpose – to kill as many people as possible in as short an amount of time as possible. That’s why they are the weapon of choice for mass shooters and domestic terrorists. They are weapons of war and do not belong in our communities. Banning these weapons will make our cities and towns safer and more secure and help to reduce gun deaths.”
That’s just not the truth; perhaps real assault rifles are, but the semi-auto civilian weapons that the Democrats want to ban are far different, mainly being used for target shooting and hunting.
Further, even if they are meant to kill, that aligns with the 2nd Amendment, the whole point of which is to protect our right to own the necessary tools for defending against tyranny.
So, Schumer mocked your faith and Feinstein attacked your rights, all in the name of “public safety” or some such nonsense. Sounds about right for the modern left.
